"What did. You. Do?!" moaned Max. His body was in pain which made him flounder while Shane kept hurting him with his hidden strength.

"That's if you touch Jade an inch and hurt her. Then with this way, I can kill you, Shane. I can even squeeze your heart to pieces without me touching it!"

"Enough! It hurts! I... I got it!"

Shane immediately released his power and then he blinked calmly. Leaving Max who was still on the ground, to touch the parts of his body that were in pain because of him.

"How can you have that power?" Max asked breathlessly.

"Like how every other vampire and werewolf has powers. It doesn't matter anyway. But that's what I would do to you if only-"

"Fine!" Max exclaimed, cutting him off. "I just need to keep my distance from her. As much as possible, don't get me close to her. Because seeing her makes me want to hurt her."
