Jade, who closed her eyes, then slowly opened them because she felt that her lips didn't touch anything. And when his eyes opened and saw Shane who was standing a few distances from him while folding his arms with a smile, Jade immediately felt embarrassed at that moment. 

"Looks like your lover is beyond my borders," Shane informed.

"So that's what stopped you?" Jade asked.

Shane's one eyebrow rose. "Stop me from what?" Shane asked feigning ignorance.

On reflex, Jade immediately shook his head. "Forget it. Where's Max?" He immediately moved forward as he looked out the window. His eyes narrowed slightly until he found Max's whereabouts.

In his gaze, Shane, who was silent, leaned against his desk as if he looked awkward. "Go. I think he could have come here knowing you weren't on campus," Shane told him.

"I'll stay here," Jade said.

Shane looked straight at him. "Why?"
