章 89: Injuries and Assurance

Frederick looked around, confused why Audrey and Little Freddie were crying their eyes out. However, the moment he tried to pull himself up from the bed, his thigh hurts!

Instinctively he looked down to see a neatly bandaged thigh that was covered in fresh blood! There was even a line connecting his hand to a drip!

'What the fuck happened?'

To say he was perplexed would be an understatement! Why? Because was he not sleeping well with Little Freddie on his side? And it was their first time too!

How could a light sleeper like him bring danger inside his own bedroom and in doing so, bring potential harm to his son? He could not imagine the consequence if the worst were to happen to Little Freddie as a result of his unconscious activity!

Gerard came through the door with a wrinkled forehead, bringing a tray of water and some medicine. Frederick raised an eyebrow at the old man, sending a (hopefully!) telepathic question about what had happened.
