章 87: Love like Salt

Evelyn muttered to herself, "Get to work."

After returning to the Manor, they both marched towards their room. Due to the cold, Evelyn hurriedly freshened up and changed into lightweight but warm clothing. Before departing for the kitchen, she glanced at the wall clock and saw that she had a long wait for dinner. Despite this, she chose to go to work because it was her first time cooking on her own. She was a little nervous but was confident in her ability to cook.

Entering the kitchen, she glanced around, astonishingly and noticed it was too clean. There was no grease stain on the tiles or the silverware. Mr Wooster's housekeeping abilities astounded her.

The kitchen was huge. It had half a wall with closed racks and the other half open. Another wall was occupied by the fireplace and next to it after a safe distance was a huge masonry. At the centre was a stone counter where different kinds of knives were placed. Everything was perfectly arranged.
