The walk to the Manor was short and pleasant. Elric, as usual, ignored her remarks, which she didn't seem to mind. When she arrived at the Manor, she hurriedly freshened herself and prepared the supper.
Having done with the dinner, she laid on her bed. She tried to sleep but wasn't able to. Turning the sides frequently made it even worse. Sitting up straight in bed, her gaze settled on the desk. Surprisingly, even the books didn't interest her.
When she looked at the clock, she realised it was the same time as yesterday: midnight. The memories from the balcony resurfaced and her cheeks pulled up. Getting up from her bed, she quickly wrapped herself in the shawl and marched towards the balcony, hoping to see Elric there.
In the full moonlight, her face gleamed as she stood near the grill. She glanced in the direction of Elric's room. This time, no one was on his balcony. She sighed in disappointment, expecting to see him.
