章 56: Hard Times!

I woke up to feel a warm body pressed behind my back, an arm wrapped around my waist, hugging me to a hard, rocky chest. I moved my head and looked around the room drowsily to see the same shirt Aiden was wearing last night on the ground.

I let out an inaudible gasp as I looked down at my own outfit and sighed in relief when I saw that I was still fully dressed. Thank the heavens. I can't imagine what would happen if anything happened between us.

I gently tried to get out of bed to get ready for school, but the hold on my body tightened, making me groan in protest. "Aiden! We have to get ready for school."

He grumbled, his voice raspy from his sleep. "Five more minutes."
