There was a knock on the door before I could even put my hand in his. "Come in," Aiden said.

Vince Knight entered the room, looking really calm and collected. I don't think I'll ever see him in anything other than a suit, to be honest, and that stern look on his face. He nodded towards Aiden, glancing at me. "Aiden, may I borrow Athena?"

Aiden shrugged, sitting down and grabbing Milky once again. "Be my guest, but don't take too long."

Vince nodded and walked out of the room. I followed, glancing back at Aiden. He mouthed 'Good luck' with sarcasm written all over his face. 'Jerk, I mouthed back, and he grinned, looking down at Milky. "See, Milky! My girl called me a Jerk. I think I'm going to hear that a lot."

I rolled my eyes at him, closing the door behind me as Mr. Knight stood in front of me. "So, you are the girl who has changed my son."

I felt nervous, twiddling my fingers. "I wouldn't say the word changed, Mr. Knight."
