The sky was stretched infinitely in pure white.

While below, was pitch-black with water extended into unknown depths.

Two figures stood amidst the strange realm.

"My, my~"

Seated upon a throne made from black water, a figure with half her face concealed smiled and greeted, "Welcome back, my dearest host."

"Mimi..." Haru whispered her name as he gazed at her.

With her typical smile, she replied, "You are finally here!! You have no idea how bored I was all alone here~"

Haru remained expressionless, but he had achieved his goal: returning to his Realm of consciousness to escape from the Nightmare.

By pushing himself to such extremes, he hoped to return to his Realm of Consciousness once more.

It had been a risky gamble with uncertain outcomes.

But, in the end it worked.

"Congrats," she chimed in, aware of his thoughts. "You won your initial bet~"

Haru didn't respond to her, instead calling out, "System."
