Gwen bolted from the bed, her heart pounding in her chest. 

Her legs carried her as fast as they could, but compared to Ross's lightning-fast reflexes, she might as well have been standing still. 

His hand caught her wrist mid-stride, yanking her back with a force that sent her sprawling onto the bed once more.

Before she could regain her bearings, Ross was already on her. 

The soft mattress sank under their combined weight as he pinned her down, his body a cage she couldn't escape. 

His lips descended on hers, a fierce and unrelenting kiss that made her stomach churn with both fear and defiance.

"Argh!" Gwen fought back, her teeth snapping at his lips in a desperate attempt to push him away. 

But Ross didn't even flinch. His lips pressed harder, more demanding, as if he relished the challenge.
