Tang Beixuan had made up his mind. He was going to confront Li Meili today. He decided that if she truly didn't want him in her life then he would accept her answer like a man. He was glad that he had a nice talk with Qin Jiran last night. Qin Jiran's perspective on the seemingly frustrating predicament he was in had really opened his eyes. 

So today, he started his day at work, finishing the tasks that were waiting for him to complete. He didn't spare time to laze around and catch up with his office mates, intending to finish everything before the day ended.

Since he already decided that there was no reason for him to back down, he was going to keep trying. Still, he hoped that all his efforts for the past five years would be enough to evoke a strong emotion from Li Meili. It was really unfair for him to be rejected just because his sister was the empress.
