Tang Moyu had come home late that night from work and had missed dinner with Feng Tianyi and her little buns. However, the moment she entered the guest house with her laptop bag in one hand, the scent of roasted chicken wafting from the kitchen reached her nose. 

She slipped off her shoes at the doorway and silently sauntered to the kitchen, where the scent was coming from. Her stomach grumbled in hunger the moment she took a seat on one of the stools at the kitchen counter. 

"Sorry," she muttered, ashamed that she couldn't hide her hunger from Feng Tianyi. "I haven't eaten anything since lunch. Please don't tell Xiao Bao I missed my dinner." 

It was just that she was so swamped with work back at her office, she barely had time to grab a bite. Of course, Cheng Ning had brought her some food, but she didn't bother to touch it knowing that it wouldn't satisfy her as much as Feng Tianyi's dishes would.
