章 56: Reapers

The first reaper who decided to speak up was the young boy, seemingly younger than both Talon and Quinn.

"We wanted to talk with you, Talon." The voice of the young reaper was just as childlike as his appearance, even though his tone sounded mature.

Talon was hesitant to answer the young reaper while next to him, Quinn was still eying the boy before them, his eyes hiding a murderous glint in them.

"Why exactly?" Talon decided to ask while trying his best to sound confident.

'I can't show any weakness in front of them, the moment I do they will know that I have something to hide.' 

"You don't need to talk to them, neither of you needs to do anything here Talon, Quinn, why did you even come here to the office?"

"A group of hunters started to chase us while blaming us for the massacre of the Forest of Decay." Admitted Quinn nonchalantly, his eyes still not leaving the young reaper.
