章 29: SEA
It seemed my melody worked on the beast. I wasn't worried about the melody affecting my friends, it only worked on who it was directed to regardless of who heard it as well.
I threw my needles at it. It surprisingly pierced its skin. I had only thrown the needle because I had forgotten that the beast's skin was thick.
The melody also affected the the thickness of its skin. This meant we had an even better chance at defeating the beast.
The beast quickly recovered from the melody. If it were an ordinary mystical creature, it would take a long time to recover from it.
The needles in its skin would help to increase the effects of my melody. I sang the melody while Gray and Mai attacked it. For the first time, their weapons actually wounded it.
I threw more needles at it to further increase the effect of my melody. Iris and the others furiously attacked it. It couldn't fight back and was soon brought to its feet.
Gray quickly beheaded it. The beast was defeated.
