"He… he… he," Talindra kept repeating over and over in her brain. Baraion realized what had happened. Her past came back. She saw him.

He knelt and grabbed her face, "Hey! Listen to me. No one can hurt you. He cannot hurt you anymore. You are safe. Hey! Listen to me! Come on now!" It was as if she was far away from him. She kept breathing heavily unable to hear him. "I am here. Talindra! Look at me. You are safe. You are far away from him." But she was not listening to him. She was looking at the window, hyperventilating. The big gulps of air were unable to fill her lungs. It felt like someone was crushing her lungs and heart. It was getting hard to breathe. She was sweating from every single pore on her body.
