章 7: Chapter: 7

It's been six years since we first came to the Land of Shadow and met Master. Albedo is now 12, and we celebrated her birthday with Master and our family. I even met her mother when she turned 10. Now, we are officially engaged, though it has been kept a secret from the rest of the world.
But neither of us looks 9 or 12, I look more like a 14-year-old due to all the training I have been through, and Albedo looks closer to a 15-year-old. I'm now 165cm tall, while Albedo is closer to 168cm.
Both I and Albedo have reached peak-high class, and according to Master, we need to fight with our lives on the line to push ourselves to the next level. During this time, became a master-level spearman and swordsman, while becoming a master-level mage, together with Master and Albedo, I recreated many different styles or systems of magic, including Soul based magic from Bleach, Sealing is a combination of Naruto, Bleach and other anime.
But I'm most proud of Haki, after properly creating it with Master, I sent a copy to my family and they have used it in trade, to gain more rights and even those Satan clan descendants, haven't caused us any problems, due to our political strength and my families own strength. We even have a trade agreement with the Hindu Pantheon and Indra can't interfere as it was agreed by the Trimurti.
Oh, and according to gramps, Indra isn't even close to the level of strength of Lord Shiva.
Still, once Master understood it and helped me make it functional, her strength got boosted many times over, after all, Master was once a human, so her willpower is far higher than any regular person. Master has a deep purple colour Haki, when she first used it, Albedo directly fainted, and since then training has been that much harder.
I also wanted to create sage arts, but due to the Devil's innate evil nature, even if I created a method, the inefficiency alone would make it pointless, if I get any subordinates or lovers who are yokai or similar then I'll make it.
The sealing magic I created, also includes many Runes of different mythologies, due to which now Master, I, Albedo and my family use a new ruin language which, according to Master is around 30-35% more efficient, the soul-based magic though was a hard thing to achieve, even create, because since Devil's don't have natural access to their soul space, which is required to power this magic. I was able to unlock it after many tries and mind craft, which also helped greatly in accessing it. Due to this, my family and Master were able to unlock it quite quickly. While Albedo was the last to do so.
Space magic is another one where I couldn't do as I pleased due to its dangers, but well I was able to create some spells like blink and, fold which quite basically folds space between two people, oh and my favourite a teleportation spell with is similar to a phoenix flaming in and out, heheheh both Master and my family was mad/proud for creating such a spell.
But I was able to recreate the soul pressure from Bleach, and now combine it with King's Will (Haki), its results were devesting, to say the least, and obviously, Master included it in our training routine, well due to that Albedo, unlocked Haki, hers is a black coloured one.
She is also a Master-level mage and uses a mace as her weapon, well does prefer to kill with magic rather than CQC, but that doesn't mean she is weak in CQC, as a student of Master Scathach, she can also fight with only her mace, when required and is close to master level.

On the topic of killing, I and Albedo had our first kill when I was five and she was seven, in my family territory. And well I felt nothing, I came to understand that it is a part of my life and just continued.
I even created a movement technique, which combines the three methods in Bleach of Shunpo, Sonido and Hirenkyaku. Shunpo and Sonido don't have much difference both use Reishi and physical strength but Hirenkyaku, on the other hand, ride on the flow of Reishi created below their feet, now by combining all three aspects of DP control, physical strength and flow?, I created a movement technique which requires the highest level of energy control, due to which only I, Master, Gramps and Mum can perform it while Grandma, Dad and Albedo can't , but they are practising it, I even named it Flash Charge.
Today we are to meet Master once before leaving back for my birthday/Nobel introduction, and the last day I meet Master, as a student.
"Aedric, we need to go meet, Master before leaving back for your Nobel introduction, and just what are you spaced out about", I get pulled out of my thoughts by Albedo, who had entered the room.
"Nothing much just lost in thought of how much we have grown", I say while looking into the fire in the fireplace in the room. Sensing the atmosphere, she comes and sits on the armrest while leaning on me, we sit like that for some time, enjoying the peace.
"Shall, we go meet Master, dear", I say trying to make her blush and fail, she kisses me on my cheeks and gets up, looking at me with expecting eyes. I, understanding get up kisses her on the lips and gives her my arm to go meet Mater. She accepts my arm, and we go to meet our Master, who in the future will be….

I sit in the throne room, waiting for my best and greatest disciplines to arrive, I cannot help but think of how fast the last six, years have gone. Both are just a step away from the next level. A student, whose brain won't let him rest till he goes through with an idea that comes to mind, sometimes ends with an explosion and on the opposite side has a chance of creating a black hole, haa I feel both pride and concern for him.
All this not talking about the magic tech he created, for the sole purpose of helping his father and him when he forms it, and the range of other magi-tech he made for the betterment of the common, while he gains a profit from it., even other factions want a piece of it.
Well the Phenex House, gave the right to make it and how to many in different factions in return for other rights, trade agreements, etc.
The numerous new systems of magic, from soul to sealing and to the completely new Rune language we created, hmm but my personal favourite is for sure Haki, honestly who thinks of weaponizing one's will power, I heard that it created waves in the supernatural community as well, the hell bird did well to publicise it, after all that sort of information/technique places a target on ones back.
Maybe he would be the one to grant my wish.
My other student, Albedo now a master-level mage, with the same drive as Aedric, but only misses creativity, over the years of being with Aedric, she has improved. If I were to not include Aedric, then Albedo would be the best student, this Scathach, has taught even greater than Setanta.
For their gifts for reaching this far this, Scathach has prepared gifts for both of them, for Aedric, a suitcase is enchanted to be a gateway to an extended space and completely separate, which can be opened by him alone.
For Albedo, a magical tome that will reduce her magical consumption by 35%, is enchanted to be endless pages, and record anything she deems necessary.

"You both are the best students this, Scathach, has taught and has prepared gifts, for Albedo, this magical tome which will reduce magical consumption by 35% and is enchanted to be endless and record everything you deem required.

Both of us nod and Albedo starts preparing the gate back home, while I give a letter I penned before, "For you master, do read it once we leave".
Just then the gate got prepared, and giving master one last nod, both of us left, The Land of Shadows.

Seeing both of them leave, I return to my seat on the throne with the letter in hand, once seated I start to read the letter, penned by my student.
Dear Master,
I penned this letter for a few reasons, one is that once I reach the required strength to defeat you only then shall I return. No matter what comes to stand in my way I shall emerge victorious, and all this I will do so before I turn 100.
Second, is that as you are connected to this realm, through a soul connection, as we learned when creating Soul magic, you could theoretically fully connect or make it a part of your soul space, which would/should push you to The Transcendent class.
Thirdly, this will be the last time I will call you Master, as once I defeat you I want the right to court you Master, and while I know that your wish is to die since you have lived close to a thousand years, master living and existing is different, and I'll be the one to show you the difference.

Living and existing, ha I never thought of it in that way, when was the last time I had fun, have I even had fun in my lifetime of existing?
Perhaps I could hold hope for this discipline of mine, not only to give me my wish but also to give me a reason to live.
Transcendent class, hmm well I can't make it easy on him, now can I?
