章 621: Looking for Sharp

It was the usual morning in Hollywood megacity and people went about their days as usual. Although the city gates were closed, corporate drones still had to earn their daily bread in the cramped cubicles that were never touched by natural light ever since the day they were built. In the old times office workers had it rough, but at least they were allowed to return home after a long day of work.

Times had changed, though, and among humans there were some who stood above all others. People with extraordinary powers that allowed them to fight against evil cryptids that threatened humanity's very existence, people that were able to perform feats such as staying up for days without sleep and sometimes even weeks.
