章 296: Gray Christmas Part III

I knew it must have been a bad thing, but I was forced to turn around and look... A dog was lying in the middle of the road without the car that hit it even slowing down.

I remembered that day I cursed the driver with harsh words before looking at the dog's eyes which were not completely closed but were probably dead. The following cars avoided the dog lying in the middle of the road. I swept my eyes around and noticed that people were only watching. Some people did not want to look. I was also not a very good person, but given the circumstances, I must say that it was unacceptable.

I walked down the middle of the road while raising my hand to stop the car. When I reached the dog, I bent down and picked it up. Its blue collar made me tremble. Seeing the collar made me realize right away that someone would regret its departure…and I was not wrong.
