Almost all of them retreated into their respective hotel rooms to get accustomed to their new toys, Huo Yuhao especially was eager to have Electrolux examine his new carving knife and purify it.
"....Fuck." Huo Yuhao's frowned, his face twitching.
On Huo Yuhao's study table, there was a carving knife etched with ancient patterns. Next to the carving knife, there was a ring that had already been sliced in half.
That storage soul tool was a Class 3 storage ring, although it wasn't as valuable as the rest of the treasures he had in his storage belt, it was still a storage device! That was a very rare and expensive soul tool that would outclassed most soul tools at the same class.
But the sharpness of the Ominous Soul-Devouring Knife was extraordinary.
Even without any soul power being channeled into it, the knife had effortlessly cut through the storage ring, rendering it useless.
'Thankfully I was smart enough to put it into a spare, or else my storage belt and the rest of the stuff in it would've been destroyed.' Huo Yuhao stared at the broken pieces of the ring and then at the carving knife, his frown deepening.
'Electrolux, Electrolux.'

Skydream snorted and said, 'It's no use, Yuhao. The old man is sleeping more than me.'
The Ice Empress grumbled, 'At least him and the other one have reasonable excuses, you, on the other hand...'
Huo Yuhao narrowed his eyes and his lips curled into a slight smirk. If Electrolux would not wake up, then he would force him to get up.
His eyes turned reddish-gold, the tomoes revolved crazily and changed into mystical bloomed lotuses, giving off a mysterious and powerful aura.
The Mangekyou Sharingan activated, subsequently, the temperature in the room began to drop.
He had already released his spiritual detection toward the Soul-Devouring Carving Knife. However, this time, he did not act rashly. Instead, he was cautious, but not fearful. He wasn't afraid of the backlash from the Soul-Devouring Carving Knife.

Then, his second soul ring released a dark glow, black flames with red hues flashed in his eyes.
"Spirit Fyre!"
The terrifying aura that had sought to barge into Huo Yuhao's brain hit a literal firewall. Immediately, it let out a screech and retreated, like a cat having its tail suddenly caught on fire.
It trembled and suddenly emanated a green gas.
"...Did it just a farted?" Huo Yuhao stared at the knife incredulously before shaking his head.
Huo Yuhao's lotus-shaped pupils revolved as he intensified the Spirit Fyre.
Unlocking the Mangekyou Sharingan didn't simply grant him new abilities and condensed his foundations, but it had expectedly enhanced the power of his soul skills by at least twice(in the Mangekyou Sharingan state).
Spirit Fyre was incredibly effective against the cursed curving knife, forcing back its malevolence back, Skydream and Ice Empress weren't needed at this point but they still watched from the side, waiting to jump in if things went unexpectedly.
It was only at this point that Electrolux finally woke up.
"Oh? So you've got the Life Gold, good. Little Yuhao, let me borrow your body. I will purify this wretched thing."
Huo Yuhao didn't hesitate and let Electrolux take over, although he could still keep pushing against the malevolence of the Ominous Soul-Devouring Knife, he wasn't confident that he could get rid of the curse.
His reddish-gold eyes with lotus-shaped pupils turned grey and full of divine death.
His entire aura completely changed, instead of a young man full of vigor and confidence, it was like an old and unfathomable being stood there.
Huo Yuhao, no, Calamity Necromancer Electrolux stared at the trembling carving knife on the table. The dim greyish radiance from his eyes shifted as a greyish light beam shot out and landed on the knife.

The Ominous Soul-Devouring Knife shook violently and released a mournful shriek the instant that the greyish spiritual power Electrolux released struck it. Anyone with a weak will would be greatly affected by this noise.
At that moment, Huo Yuhao's consciousness retreated to his spiritual sea and stood between Skydream and Ice Empress, all three looking at the physical world through Huo Yuhao's eyes.
Electrolux's thoughts echoed in the spiritual sea,
"How terrible. Injecting evil thoughts and curses into the Life Gold is only something that an ignorant evil creator could think of. He simply sensed the immense strength that this Life Gold has, but he didn't know how to let it unleash its truly miraculous effects."
"Life Gold, I will return you to your original state, and remove all the filth placed on you. Your purest life aura can be unleashed once again."
"Purify."
'Huo Yuhao's' pupils experienced a change once again, instead of a lotus flower, it now resembled a pentagram with mysterious tiny symbols around the circle. The four soul rings around disappeared briefly before a grey soul ring with golden halo within appeared beneath him.
Purifying Light engulfed the cursed carving knife.
The Ominous Soul-Devouring Knife had stopped shaking. An intense green light was suddenly released from its blade. The green light formed a ferocious-looking face and roared madly. It seemed to want to devour the white light that Electrolux was emitting.
"Hmph. A mere evil remnant spirit dares to retaliate? You should've gone peacefully to hell."
Electrolux coldly snorted and the Purifying Light intensified. The green light from the fierce-looking face was blurred by half in an instant.
Skreeeee*!
It fiercely resisted, but it was inevitable. Gust after gust of black gas was evaporating and dissipating beneath the effect of the Purifying Light. The green light that the Ominous Soul-Devouring Knife was emitting began to become purer.
The entire cleansing process was very short and quick.
The moment that the last streak of black gas dissipated, the green light that the knife's blade was emitting became as clear as crystal. The once dull and ominous blade turned into a beautiful emerald crystal blade.
Electrolux sighed. "If I hadn't recovered much of my divine spirit, I would've been....nevermind that now. Yuhao, I leave the rest up to you."
Huo Yuhao blinked and his consciousness returned back to his physical body. He looked down at the purified carving knife with an emerald crystal blade.
"Electrolux, what do I do now?"
"For convenience, sit on your bed first then press the knife against your forehead. Yuhao, remember not to panic no matter what happens. Remain calm and leave everything to me. Do you understand?"
"Alright." Huo Yuhao acknowledged, then pressed the knife to his forehead.
When the knife came into contact with his skin, he felt a surge of warm energy. Immediately afterwards, a strange aura streaked from his spiritual sea into the knife.
In an instant, the knife shone with green light, and a stream of vigorous life aura surged into Huo Yuhao's body through the center of his forehead.
In that instant, Huo Yuhao's body turned the same color as the knife. Even his spiritual sea was no exception. As the intense green light spread, the spiritual origins of the Skydream Iceworm and the Ice Jade Empress Scorpion were temporarily suppressed.
"Hm?" Ancestor, who had been floating mid air in the spiritual sea in a cross legged position, slightly opened his eyelids. The commotion had obviously woken him up and his Sharingan momentarily stirred.
In an instant, he immediately understood what was going on and went back to his hibernation.
They should've at least gave me a heads up, he inwardly thought.
An unprecedented comfort flowed throughout Huo Yuhao's body, his body greedily sucked at the vigorous life energy being released by the knife.
With his inner eyes, he was able to see everything inside his body: Everything turned green and were filled with the same life aura. His passageways became more flexible, his organs became tougher, his bones were strengthened... His physique had undergone a phenomenal transformation!
As the green light cleansed his entire body, all of the impurities within his body were rapidly expelled through his pores, causing his entire body to be encased in a strange black substance.
Huo Yuhao was completely ignorant about this, he was more focused about the ongoings within his body.
There was no changes to his cultivation, but Huo Yuhao was able to sense that his body had inching closer towards the state of....'perfection'.
It was an exhilarating feeling, it was a sensation unlike anything Huo Yuhao had ever felt before. It somehow felt even better than his "sessions" with Ma Xiaotao.
Just when Huo Yuhao was at the climax of his exhilaration, the vast aura of life paused.
'H-Huh? Why did it just–' Huo Yuhao's eyes opened, crumbling the black layer over his eyelids.
His eyes snapped opened in shock.
Because the sharp end of the blade was pointed right at his forehead, above his eyebrows.
Before he could even react, the Soul-Devouring Carving Knife stabbed down ferociously, and the entire blade sunk deep into his skull.
'Holy shit—!'
Tremendous volumes of life energy instantly flooded in once the blade entered his skull. Huo Yuhao felt like he had just been hammered on the head, and his mind was a complete blank.
The extensive energies of life surged into Huo Yuhao's spiritual sea from his forehead and gave the other occupants an inexplicably comfortable sensation as their spiritual origins were rinsed.
Huo Yuhao's spiritual sea had turned into a green-colored ocean at this point. Dense and thick mists of life energy gradually started to condense, while his spiritual sea began to expand outwards.
His spiritual sea had took on a scenery that was a part of the Great Star Dou Forest, it was only part of it because the authentic one was just too vast and majestic to be copied. Its size could be compared to the Heavenly Soul Empire after all.
However, at this moment, the spiritual sea's sudden expansion could likely contend with the true Great Star Dou Forest.
Large towering trees, exotic plant life, and wild terrain adorned the edges of his spiritual sea, giving it an ethereal yet grounded feeling. It was as if Huo Yuhao's very soul had become one with the forest, reflecting both its beauty and its untamed power.
Huo Yuhao's consciousness floated in the middle of his spiritual sea, observing the transformation. The emerald light swirled around him, caressing his spirit and filling him with a profound sense of unity and strength.
Four figures materialized behind him—they were Skydream Iceworm, Ice Empress, Ancestor and a mysterious unfamiliar man.
The man was tall and handsome, contrary to his usual voice of an old man, he looked to be around his early thirties with smooth pale skin, sharp features, glossy lips, and deep, penetrating grey eyes. He has long white hair that cascaded down his back, and he wore a dark black robe adorned with gold.

He glanced at the astonished Skydream and Ice Empress and smiled as he said. "Who said that I cannot regain my human form?"
"Uh..."
"Hahaha. I am not angry, big worm. I am merely jesting, I haven't felt this good since....well, that's not important."
"Congratulations on regaining some of your strength back, great necromancer." Ancestor respectfully said.
Indra has his pride and ego as a powerful Otsutsuki, but even he wasn't stupid enough to not recognize the power of Electrolux. He was someone that his father could probably not defeat, even if he had ascended after his death.
This was a man that could be hailed as the God of Death!
Even his father, the Sage of Six Paths, couldn't completely conquer death.
Electrolux nodded back at him and then turned towards the back of Huo Yuhao. "My thread of divine sense had no foundation. It was empty and weak, which meant that it could have dissipated at any moment even when I swallowed that evil soul douluo we encountered a few months ago."
"However, things are a lot different with this miraculous Life Gold – it can provide me with a vector, and I will be able to sustain myself inside, and this is bound to stabilize my divine sense a little more. When the power of Huo Yuhao's divine sense reaches the level I possessed back in the day, everything I've lost will return and I will give all my teachings to him."
Electrolux's right hand swiped across the air as he spoke, and a green door made of light appeared before him. "I need to be on my way, and you guys can communicate with me through our spiritual origins."
"Huh? Where are you going?" Skydream asked.
Ancestor furrowed his brows and his eyes shot up. He looked up and his mouth hanged in disbelief.
"Did he just...!?"
"From now on, I will reside in Huo Yuhao's third eye!"
The green Soul-Devouring Carving Knife inside Huo Yuhao's forehead began to tremble and unexpectedly melted into a green liquid that flowed into Huo Yuhao's head through the opening.
Huo Yuhao's body began convulsing as large volumes of life energy started to wash his body continuously, with his forehead as the central point.
The wound slashed open by the blade didn't close up following the fusion of the carving knife. Instead, it began to open even wider under the effects of a circle of green-gold light, splitting open suddenly—revealing a vertical golden eye.
The eye quivered, while his muscles and his bones were all being continuously distorted during the process. Huo Yuhao's body trembled from the effects of the transformation, accompanied by a familiar painful sensation.
The golden eye gradually stabilized. A single tiny grey pearl materialized at the gash on his forehead and began to fuse intricately with the broken flesh, tendons and bones around the hole.
Huo Yuhao's soul and spiritual origin were screaming incessantly as he felt as if his spiritual origin was being torn apart. One could also say that his spiritual origin was being ripped to shreds before it was pieced back together.
The pain he was feeling seemed to drag him into the deepest and darkest abyss, and he was just sinking ever deeper.
However, he endured through it with gritted teeth and fiery eyes.
What was pain? It was a familiar feeling throughout his whole life, and he quickly become numb to it.
Terrifying ripples of soul power erupted at this moment from his body, shedding the black substance from his body and ripped his clothes apart.
An unknown amount of time passed.
A ray of sunlight pierced through the window of the hotel room of Huo Yuhao, shining upon a human figure sitting cross-legged on the floor and completely still. His eyes were closed, with a wave of green life energy emanating from his closed third eye.
Huo Yuhao's eyes snapped open, revealing glowing Mangekyou Sharingan and a strange golden eye with black rings and grey pupil.
