Chapter 65 — Formation and Spirit Bone.
Tang San realized he was trapped inside an illusion that was extremely realistic. The creator of the illusion was surely powerful just by seeing it.
He then quickly planned on how to overcome this situation. His plan was to kill his unknown opponent instantly by using yama invitation.
However, Tang San was immediately puzzled as he saw the illusion breaking and found himself inside the woods.
The very first thing that attracted his attention was a gigantic sword falling down the sky, creating a huge and powerful shockwave that destroyed majority of the woods.
Tang San was amaze, but then grew curious about that sword. He decided to head deeper inside the forest to see the person who created the sword.
He guessed that person was the reason behind the illusion breaking apart.
...
Grandpa Bone wandered around the outskirts of the Heaven Dou City, searching for Ning Chen.
It was because of an order he received from Ning Fengzhi, saying that he had heard from Tang Yuehua that Ning Chen was in a dangerous situation and they needed to find him as soon as possible.
As he searching around, he suddenly saw a colossal sword appearing far from his location, it's sheer size even reaching the far heavens.
Thinking it was related to Ning Chen, he quickly went toward there and hoped nothing bad happened to him...
...
The people that Ning Chen had saw were Tang San and Grandpa Bone.
The two of them looked around the area immediately and their gaze soon landed over Ning Chen.
"Ning Chen, what happened over here? Who did all of this destruction!?" Grandpa Bone exclaimed, while approaching him with concern.
If something bad had happened to Ning Chen, he didn't know what to do...
Tang San stared at Ning Chen with an intrigued expression. He felt everything that happened before were the work of Ning Chen.
"Although it's quite weird to say, all of this were caused by me. However, it isn't without a valid reason. It's because I've luckily found the man behind the mysterious suicide cases and even managed to eliminate him." Ning Chen explained to them, slowly rubbing his head.
Grandpa Bone was quickly dumfounded, especially when he remembered the colossal sword falling down the sky and the destruction it caused. However, he soon grew extremely worried.
"Are you alright? Did you suffered any injuries?" Grandpa Bone inspected Ning Chen's condition and was relieved to see he was well.
"I'm just feeling exhausted, no need to worry to much." Ning Chen reassured him and then looked at Tang San. "The man was planning on killing you, but no need to worry anymore since I've taken care of him already. You should just head back to your academy and recuperate."
Tang San quickly nodded and bowed his body gratefully. "Many thanks for saving my life."
"No need." Ning Chen shook his hands at Tang San, gesturing that his gratitude was needless.
Despite that, Tang San bowed for one more time and quietly turned to leave the forest.
"Grandpa Bone, let's also head back." Ning Chen said exhaustedly, but then saw something shining as he was about to leave.
There was something shining with blue light over Shi Nian's previous location. However, there wasn't anything significant there, only piles of inner organs, squashed flesh and blood littering the destroyed ground.
Ning Chen approached it and quickly picked up the shining blue thing curiously. He soon smiled after seeing what it was.
It was spirit bone. To be precise, a rare skull-type spirit bone. It wasn't something that could be commonly seen.
Ning Chen placed the spirit bone, his spoils from the battle, inside his spatial and looked toward Grandpa Bone.
"Let's return back." He said briefly, walking away to leave the forest.
Grandpa Bone simply nodded. He was curious about the thing Ning Chen picked up, but didn't questioned him.
The two of them just simply left the forest, returning inside the Heaven Dou City.
...
The appearance of the colossal dragon sword attracted all of the peoples attention, but it soon calmed down once again. They had merely thought it was a very powerful spirit master using his own powerful spirit ring ability.
Although it raised alarms, it wasn't something serious. This was the Heaven Dou City, the capital of the Heaven Dou Empire. It was a very safe place.
Ning Chen arrived back at the imperial academy and entered his own room to rest his exhausted mind and body. But before going to sleep, he took out the spirit bone he acquired earlier from his spatial ring and closely appraised it.
It was a crystal blue skull-type spirit bone and it's specialties were about illusion and supporting capabilities. It's innate ability was Fantasy Space, somehow similar to his conquest domain's Mind Link.
It was a good spirit bone, but only for true supporting system spirit master. It wasn't compatible and worth for Ning Chen to absorb it.
Ning Chen eventually decided to just give the spirit bone toward his sister. It will greatly boost her supporting capabilities and he was also sure she would like it very much.
He was about to place the spirit bone back inside his spatial ring, but abruptly thought about something crazy.
His crazy thoughts were about engraving formations into the spirit bone to enhance it's abilities further.
Ning Chen was quite excited and doubtful about this kind of idea. However, he soon decided to test it out. He began inscribing formations, but soon found it conflicting with the spirit bone, as if meeting their own nemesis.
He thought it was definitely impossible, but his conquest aura declared otherwise. It's main ability was about conquering. It was able to forcefully combine all of his sword stances, so why not for this kind of crazy idea?
"Obedience." Ning Chen's dexterous fingers moved around the air swiftly, various formations flowing toward the spirit bones along with his conquest aura.
And the end results were great! It actually worked!
After am uncertain amount of time, Ning Chen stared at the spirit bone placed above his desk, it's smooth surface being covered with mysterious golden characters.
The spirit bone was now obviously far different compared to before. it's energy consumption being lowered and the spiritual strength enhancement increasing dramatically.
It was all because of the formations that were added to it.
Unfortunately, Ning Chen could only add some normal formations because his skills was still lacking.
After completing his first-ever formation-type spirit bone, Ning Chen felt satisfied. He placed the spirit bone back inside the spatial ring and then went to sleep.
...
The next morning, Ning Chen started training on improving his control over his new conquest domain.
After a hour of intense training, he was now able to control on whether his hair and eyes would turn golden or not.
He also learned that Conquest: Coat Of Arms was a passive effect that would only activate whenever the conquest domain was released.
It could increase the sharpness, the attack power of his sword greatly. As for his wolf leg spirit armour, it's defense would also increase since it could also be classified as an armour.
Ning Chen had also used 'Below The King's Flag' with the Emperor Team, making him learn more about it deeply.
The Mind Link between him and the others were simply terrifyingly awesome. They could mentally exchange their thoughts instantly to each other. It was a great thing for them, their teamwork and coordination experiencing major transformation.
The Emperor Team had also found their trust toward Ning Chen increasing sharply and feeling themselves being enhanced by 20%.
However, it was different for Xie Lingling. It was because her enhancement was exactly at 30%.
The enhancement wasn't entirely the same for everyone. They would gain different enhancements depending on their own respective specialization and talents.
For example, Xie Lingling's enhancement would be about her healing ability.
Ning Chen even managed to determine that the enhancement strength would depend on his affinity with the others.
He thought that if Bai Chenxiang was currently with him, her enhancement would most likely be about 50%.
Now that he had completely mastered his conquest domain, Ning Chen decided it was finally time to visit his sister.
He quickly went to the Shrek Academy, not even experiencing troubles since most of the students already knew about him as the handsome older brother of Ning Rongrong.
Ning Chen went to his sister's room and knocked softly at the door.
"Enter..." He quickly received a reply.
Ning Chen opened the door completely and saw his sister currently at her bed. Her clothes were quite revealing, clearly showing her smooth white stomach and tender thighs.
Ning Rongrong got up from her bed and ran toward him happily.
"Big bro, why did you came here?" She asked curiously, rubbing her head against his warm broad chest.
Ning Rongrong was smaller than Ning Chen, only reaching his chest.
"I obviously wanted to see you! I also brought a gift for you this time."
Ning Rongrong's eyes sparkled. "What kind of gift? But it doesn't matter! I will accept any gifts that you will give me."
Ning Chen merely smiled, taking out the spirit bone and showing it toward her.
".....!" Ning Rongrong was definitely happy seeing this, but soon felt reluctant to accept such a precious thing.
"I'm very glad at this gift, but I don't deserve to take it. It's better for you to use it, big bro..."
"No, you must take it." Ning Chen shook his head firmly. "Besides, It's not even suitable for me."
Ning Rongrong could only accept the spirit bone in the end.
"Thanks, big bro!" She said with a large smile, it was enough to fill Ning Chen with energy.
Ning Rongrong then asked him to slightly lower his head with a mysterious smile.
Ning Chen did exactly what she said, but then saw her pecking him on the cheek, her soft and moist lips clearly felt good as It touched him for a few seconds.
Ning Rongrong then slowly backed away, giggling cutely. Her actions alone were enough to make Ning Chen be extremely happy.
"My sister is truly the most adorable girl in the world!" He started playing with her cheeks, but It caused her to pout upsetly. It was because he was treating her like a child.
However, she was indeed a child within his eyes.
Ning Chen pondered for a moment and his eyes soon started shining.
"Now, don't pout so cutely or else, I can't resist kissing you too."
Ning Rongrong was surprised, but Ning Chen quickly lowered his head, his lips pressing gently against her forehead.
"Now, we're even with you kissing me on my cheek." He whispered with a small smile, his fingers gently running through her pink hair which smelled really good.
Ning Rongrong's face was slightly reddish with her head lowered, holding her forehead shyly.
"B-Big bro, you meanie!" She exclaimed, punching him at the stomach, but it only tickled him.
"Hahaha!" Ning Chen laughed, but then remembered something.
He had rarely ever kissed his sister on the forehead again since he first left the clan....
