Cherish Turner didn't stop, eager to leave and even shrugged him off. Watching her resolute departure, Daniel Peacock felt unwilling but even more heartbroken. He realized there was no trace of him left in her heart.

He had made a fool of himself for a few years, losing a woman he should have cherished. It was all his own doing.

"I don't expect you to forgive me, but I hope you won't be foolish anymore. The love you're holding on to, it won't become a reality. Wake up."

Speaking coldly, Daniel Peacock didn't want his words to sound so melancholic. However, he selfishly hoped to make amends or at least provide her some warmth when she was about to get hurt.

Cherish turned her head, giving him a cold look. She had not seen through him after all these years.
