章 100: Chapter 39 – Bonus Chapter

"Akeno, you called me?"

"Master, I have been following the three Dungeon Divers who passed by us. There is definitely something strange about them," Akeno used magic to hide herself from the three she found. After she decided to stay the night with her mother, she was going back towards the secret tunnel when she came upon the three strangers.

The First Floor of Dungeon had vastly changed. Unlike when it was under Aransae's control, it had bats as the welcoming guests, and then there were Skeletons. Usually, the Dungeon didn't have any creatures without desires like the Skeletons. From what they guessed, the Skeletons represented the lack of energy on the First Floor, which were considered the sign of Progress.

She was planning to fly over these Skeletons when she noticed the three of them fighting the Skeleton. It wasn't strange that they were fighting, "They are using strange energy. Not only that, they are using are using tools…I think those are shuriken and kunai. Since Rias is so obsessed with Japanese things, I came across them in her collection. Above all…they are human…"

"Hm, human and energy," Aransae tilted his head to the side. Since he appeared through the contract, he was barely the size of her finger, floating on top of her shoulder, "Let me see."

'Humans from another world,' Aransae shifted his hazel eyes towards Akeno, 'should I tell her that it happened after all? I was worried about this before I finally let go of Dungeon's power and put up a last-ditch struggle. When I heard that the Four Demon Kings were unable to go past the Thirteenth Floor. I knew the Dungeon would react. To think it made contact with another world so soon. It has only been a month.'

'But if I tell Akeno and she tells Rias, then all of it would blow up and I would get sucked in. Mm, but if they don't know, they might end up fighting,' Aransae gave on the thought of trying not to get involved, "You can make contact with them. The way they are now, they won't survive the Boss of First Floor. You'll learn more from them. Also, collect a bit of their energy if possible. I am interested in that energy."

"Will do, and then you will explain things to me?"

"I will," Akeno chuckled, she tapped the tip of her finger against his cheek, "Btw, Master. You look really cute like this."

Aransae looked away from her with a smirk on his lips as his body disappeared from her sight. She couldn't help roll her eyes, "ah, I love it when Master is shy. I should tease him more often."

She hurriedly shook her head, turning her attention towards the team of three who managed to take down three skeletons. It was mainly the boy with dark blue t-shirt, who managed to invoke fire, big enough to cover the corridor and defeat the group of skeletons they were facing.

Akeno landed on the ground, curling her lips into the smile, 'Hm, not much. The black-haired boy has good control over his body and can use fire. The loud one can create physical clones of himself which disappear when they are damaged. The girl can throw kunai and such…other than that she hasn't done much.'

'Since they are human,' Akeno hid her wings, peeking around the corner, and the moment she stepped out, the black-haired boy turned around, holding the kunai.

"Who!"

"That's the question I should be asking," Akeno walked towards them, wearing her school uniform. There was a sharp look in her eyes, "You three don't look from around here."

"Wow, finally we met someone in the god-forsaken place! What is this place?!" the pink-haired girl raised her voice, happy to see someone else here.

"If you don't know what this is, then how did you enter here?" Akeno curiously watched them.

"How? We were chasing a cat—"

"Shut up, Naruto," the black-haired boy spoke in a suppressed voice. He rotated the kunai around his finger, gripping it, "answer her question."

"Hehe, aw. How cute," Akeno raised her palm, and the boy tensed up. He was expecting her to make hand signs when a magic circle appeared in front of her palm and fingers, and lightning came bursting out from it, attacking his arm, disarming him of kunai.

"Sasuke!!"

"Hey! You! Why are you attacking us?! Who are you!" Naruto jumped in front of Sasuke and Sakura, putting his hands together to make a hand sign.

Akeno was mulling over what she should tell them when the idea struck her and a smile appeared on her lips. She brought out her bat wings and her devil tail, "I am a Devil. Akeno Himejima of Aransae's Peerage. If you want to know, then we can form a contract. I will answer your question, and in turn you give me something."

"W-W-Wait…t-those wings! Are you really a devil!" Naruto pointed at her with a flabbergasted look while Sakura was trembling behind him.

"Are you going to take our soul?!"

'A Devil…is that a genjutsu? If it is then I can't release it,' Sasuke was the only one among them calmly judging the situation.

"Fufu, soul? No, that isn't useful to me. My master has demanded your energy. I can make it clear in the contract. I will not harm you," Akeno chuckled, "or you can dive deeper by yourself. But the deeper you go, the closer to death you will be."

"Then, we'll face death," Sasuke could tell she wasn't planning on attacking them. He looked towards the other two, "Naruto, Sakura. Let's go."

"Sasuke! Who made you the Leader!"

"Shut up, Naruto! And follow Sasuke!"

Akeno's eyebrows twitched. She curled the corner of her lips, 'those three, are they going to be ok?'

"Waaaaaaaah! Ghost!!!!!!!"

'Probably not,' Akeno covered her face. She decided to follow them a little longer. There were many entrances to the Dungeon, the tower that represented the Dungeons was only for the sake of the image. There was only one main Dungeon, which was the building in Kuoh Town. Other than that, all others were used as entrances.

Though the goal of Dungeon was to purify desires, not to increase them. Since it was so high-level that one needed a high-ranking demon to clear it, the Dungeon divided itself into Mirror Dungeons, and divided the power of monsters. Though, it was only able to do so for the floors that had been cleared and gained a Floor Master. For those who floors whose Boss Monsters hadn't been defeated, they couldn't be separated.

'Otherwise, Demon Lords would have been able to reach much higher Floors,' Akeno walked behind them, and they noticed that.

"Seductress! Why are you following us!"

"Ara, ara, calling the young girl who you met for the first-time seductress. You have quite a mouth on you," Akeno laughingly covered her lips, though her eyes that looked down on the boy didn't laugh.

"Naruto, you idiot! Don't provoke her!" Sakura smacked his head to keep him quiet, pulling him after her, when she noticed Sasuke standing in his place, staring at Akeno.

'If we keep going, we are going to be tired out by those skeletons, and we'd be powerless to stop her. If we defeat her, then we might not have enough strength to fight the monsters. We need to run…but we don't know anything about this place. What if we did go deeper and found tougher monsters…?'

He clenched his fists, 'am I going to die here! Will I fail again! I don't want to! I haven't had my vengeance yet!! I won't die yet!!'

Akeno furrowed her brows, 'those eyes…they remind me of Kiba.'

She let out a big audible sigh, "Haah, you remind me of someone. Very well, I was going to have fun watching you struggle and save you at last moments, but I will tell you now. I want your energy because Master asked me to. In return, I will tell you what this place is, and how you can get out. Or even…"

'I know those eyes. Vengeance. For someone so embroiled in his own vengeance…he must be…' Akeno narrowed her violet eyes, "How to use this place to get stronger. Much stronger than you are now."

"As if that would work! I won't believe a demon!" Naruto pointed at her, "You must think we are easy to trick!! I will become strong on my own!"

'Chaaaaaaa! Naruto!! You tell her!!!' Sakura mentally cheered him on while taking a step towards Sasuke for safety. It was only because of that…that she noticed, the look on Sasuke's face had changed. It seemed to be a mixture of confusion, shock, eagerness that she hadn't seen before, and rage, "Sasuke…?"

"Tell me HOW!" He suppressed his voice. Yet, it seemed more like a growl filled with pain.

"Then," a magic circle appeared under Akeno's feet, "then step over here and we can make a binding contract."

"Fine," Sasuke barely took a step forward, when Naruto jumped in front of him, stopping him from taking another step forward.

"Get out of my way!"

"I won't!" Naruto shouted back, "are you an idiot! Why would you believe a Devil! She is obviously tricking you! We should get out of here!"

"Shut up! This has nothing to do with you!"

"We are all Team 7!! Of course, it has everything to do with me!"

"Then, do you have a plan to get out of here alive!"

"Of course! We are going to defeat her! Then defeat the Monsters and then get back to Konoha!!! Then one day I am going to be Hokage!!"

"You!!"

Akeno raised her eyebrows, 'they are clearly at crossroads. As things are…'

"Now, now, there is no need to fight," Akeno appeared behind Naruto. At the level that she was now, her magic power alone was enough to make them halt in their tracks, "the place you are in is called a Dungeon. People from the human world, church, and underworld all come here to gain levels. If you don't believe me, then I can take you to the entrance where you can see your strength in numbers. Since you won't believe me like this. Let me take you there."

Akeno already bound the three of them so they couldn't move or talk. From the looks of it, they were the type that didn't believe in devils. But they didn't seem like those from the church, rather, they were the ones who had only known devils from the literatures of humans. That also meant that they could be convinced about Devil Contracts. While she walked in front of them, she explained to them about Kuoh Town and Peerages. Since they couldn't resist her, they had to listen what she was saying, though they didn't seem to believe even a bit of it.

Not until she stopped in front of the boards in the large reception hall. She placed her palm on the board, showing them her stats, "See? Now your turn."

"Wow! Numbers really appeared!" Naruto nearly jumped up. Unlike the two of his teammates who were still suspicious, he placed his palm on the board, where all his stats appeared.

"Just 257?! How! I am stronger than that!" Naruto complained, but there were two other people who were very surprised by his stats, mainly Akeno and Sasuke.

Sasuke didn't know how impressive these stats were. But he knew the woman whom he couldn't even do anything against was Level 1012. It made sense that they were much weaker than her. But.

'Rest? That woman is as strong as Kakashi. I knew Naruto had a lot of chakra, but how much more does he have?! What about mine?' Sasuke placed his hand on the board, and his stats appeared.

'None of my stats are on the same level as Naruto's chakra,' Sasuke went over his stats when he noticed his Bloodline Limit, '?! Why is it showing that I have Sharingan?'

"Hey, Devil. Is this ever wrong?"

"Not that I have heard of. Though you aren't the only one to doubt it. There are many who are not aware of everything about them. Many times, the abilities they possess. They have the same doubts as you," Akeno chuckled, darting her eyes between the three stat boards.

'Does that mean I have already awakened Sharingan,' Sasuke widened his eyes, and a streak of joy flashed past them. He couldn't help but feel his heart pound faster from the pure joy he felt right now. He clenched his fist, 'those monsters. If this is a place where they train, then I can fight against those monsters, and train myself! Now that I know my Sharingan is only awakened, it is only a matter of time before I learn to control it! I will control it!'

"Now, who wants to sign contracts and get much stronger," Akeno clapped her hands together when she found Sasuke standing right in front of her, while the other two were lost in their status board, "Sign it already."

"Good," Akeno's lips curved into a smile. She could hear the sounds of his team members telling him to wait, but her magic power kept them at bay while the magic circle appeared below her. She cupped the boy's cheek, and in his shock, she placed her lips on top of his. Sasuke abruptly reacted, trying to pulling the arms away when he felt all his chakra being sucked out by her.

Once she had nearly drained him, she let go of him and he couldn't even manage to keep standing. He fell to his knees, taking deep breaths, "You!!"

"Sasuke!"

"You wench! How dare you do that to Sasuke!"

Akeno looked at the pink-haired girl, who stood in front of her team members while the yellow-haired boy who supported Sasuke. Since they had already killed a few monsters in the Dungeon, they were ripe with desires swirling inside the Dungeon. And that meant, 'she shouldn't mind that.'

Akeno leaned forward, kissing the lips of the girl in front of her, who widened her eyes. At first, she thought she was getting kissed by a girl and wanted to get away when this thought crossed her mind, '!! I-Indirect kiss with Sasuke!!'

Her cheeks went red in moments before smoke started coming out of her head and she dropped to her knees, having lost her chakra.

"Sakura!"

"Now, your turn," Akeno chuckled.

"No! You stay away!" Naruto growled at her only to get pulled in by her. Before long, he too had a similar thought like Sakura, 'and indirect kiss with Sakura!'

'Since he has a lot of this energy. I should take a little more,' Akeno sucked more of his energy when she felt a strange taste in it. She snapped her eyes, looking at the door with iron bars, like a jail made for something gigantic, to keep it trapped. There was the dripping sound, along with the growl of an animal.

Its energy poured out of the cell that it was in, moving towards Akeno, surrounding her, "Grrrrrrrrrrr."

Thirty-Third Floor,

Kyuubi raised his head, looking left and right to understand where it appeared. Normally he was the one that called others, but this was the first time that he was brought into the mind of something else. It was raging, insane, darker than his thousand years of hate, and crushing.

Reception Hall,

Akeno and Naruto both stepped away from each other, "What was that?"

"Was that a Sacred Gears soul?" Akeno watched him with interest, "that is a dangerous one you have."

"You are the one to talk!" Naruto hugged himself, shuddering, "What was that thing!"

"It was the Boss. The thing that is on the Thirty-Third Floor of this Dungeon," Akeno pointed up, "He is an alien who made contact with our world, and now it seems yours."

"Alien, worlds?! You mean this is not our world?!"

"Hm, where should I start…"
