"She used to be very timid. She didn't even dare to raise her head, let alone speak her mind out and planned something like this," Diamond recalled those times when Chloe was very quiet and always apologized for the most menial thing happening around her. It was tragic and probably one of the reasons why Diamond befriended her early on rather than treating her coldly and formally like her boss told her to do. 

She just knew that a woman like Chloe needed support until she could get back on her feet, and she knew that Chloe wasn't a malicious person.
