Edward walked out of the old school building towards town. Even seeing all the lights from the buildings around the city, it was easy to hide and find your victims
He didn't feel comfortable with what he had to do. Fighting a 6-year-old was not something he felt he should do. But, it doesn't change the fact that Episode was a 6-year-old half-vampire despite his teenage body.
He sighed, frustrated at the possibilities of what he should do. Just after a few minutes of walking and thinking.
Edward finally made up his mind and focused his strength on his legs and jumped with all of his strength, climbing towards the sky with great speed.
As he flew through the sky and continued to gain more and more altitude. Edward closed his eyes and began to concentrate, imagining a pair of wings on his back
He felt a small burn on his back and opened his eyes. On Edward's back, two huge bat wings formed and stretched, causing him to stop gaining altitude and stop in midair.
"This is better than I thought," He said, surprised by the huge pair of wings on his back, "Now just go hunting"
----
Flying helped Edward a lot in dealing with his problems. In a few minutes, he had already surrounded the entire city. His first stop was at a house, he smelled blood and desecration.
He entered the building and very quickly found a group of mobsters splitting the money and a badly injured couple lying in a chair.
Edward, how he felt sorry for the couple, killed the mobsters faster than they could react and stole their money. So with the phone of one of the Mafioso, he called the police to rescue the couple
Edward normally didn't like killing people, he had a certain fetish for punishing, but killing wasn't something he thought was cool, and it was also his last option.
After fleeing the crime scene, he went to another place where he sold doughnuts.
It quickly descended from the air and landed awkwardly on the ground. He quickly concentrated to make his wings disappear and entered the store
"Welcome" A woman dressed in the store's uniform the length and looked at him with curiosity
"I would like 100 doughnuts," Edward said, smiling
"Sir…are you sure?" the woman asked suspiciously.
"Yes, bring it all" Edward replied confidently and placed a small malt of cash on the counter.
The clerk looked at the bag of money with wide eyes and looked at Edward in surprise, not knowing how to act. She didn't even know if there were 100 doughnuts in stock
"Sir, can you give me a break?" she asked almost begging
"Of course, take as much time as you like," Edward replied while looking at some other candy on the store shelves with curiosity.
Hearing Edward's response to the store manager, she gave a slight nod and ran into the interior of the store.
As he saw the employee's back running into the store, Edward walked around looking at candy on the shelves. Normal people would probably tell him that he had better invest that money and create some political power for himself
But Edward wasn't a fool, and he knew that if someone showed up with that much money out of nowhere without any records he would possibly get the attention of the authorities, which Edward didn't want to happen.
As Edward thought about what else to buy steps caught his attention and he looked towards the store entrance where he saw an elderly man with a gentle smile wearing a uniform of the same colour as the employee walking slowly towards Edward
"Sir… I heard you wanted 100 doughnuts?" the elderly man asked curiously, looking Edward up and down
"Yes, today is a special day and I have to bring some doughnuts to a needy child and the rest is for my girlfriend and a friend," Edward said gently making his background
"A needy child, huh?" The old man asked with a twinge of sadness in his voice, "Nowadays they are increasing their numbers"
"Surely, kids these days are having more and more kids" Edward lamented putting his hand on his chin" in the end it's very difficult for kids to take care of other kids"
Edward used his technique of pulling the subject to the old man using some of the oldest methods of persuasion in the world. Using other people's world-view to make them believe his words or in case Edward tricks them into not questioning his decisions
"In fact, these kids these days are getting more and more excited" The old man spoke with a slight tone of contempt
'got it' Edward thought and formed a happy smile
"True...you don't make children like in the old days" Edward spoke with a smile and pushed the money pouch to the old man's side "so as adults we have to do our part caring, feeding those who need them and teaching them the right for children not to fall into traps like the life of crime"
"That's exactly what I always tell my kids" The old man spoke with joy to find someone who has the same worldview as the "Kyoko wrap the doughnuts"
"But dad, there are too many doughnuts "The Kyoto worker tried to reason with the old man" we don't even know the origin of the money---"
"Kyoko, don't excuse" The old man stated with a firm voice
"Che" The girl snorted and went back inside the store
"Sorry for her" The old man spoke apologetically "although I'm a bit rebellious my daughter is very responsible"
"I saw" Edward replied with a gentle smile "A good attitude for a salesperson, distrust is good"
"Absolutely" The old man replied
Edward and the old man continued to talk for a few minutes until it would work Kyoko brought 5 big cardboard boxes full of doughnuts.
"Thanks, keep the change," Edward said as he balanced the boxes on his spleens and walked out of the store.
The old man looked at Edward's back in awe and after a second he returned to his normal temper and decided to get back to work.
"Dad... that's a lot of money" Kyoko would work her spoke almost stuttering
"What?" The old man asked "how much"
He widened his eyes and looked towards the door with the intention of calling Edward back to return the right change. But Edward had already disappeared from the scene
"Enough to pay for a 1000 doughnuts," She said counting the money "that's enough for us to live without working for a year"
"my god, Daughter, keep this money in case He comes back"
"Yes"
-------
Episode was about a pitiful child born of union and a human woman with a Vampire parent. He took his first life at birth when his hand could not bear giving birth to him and died
His father abandoned him, not wanting to be with the filthy child who killed his wife. He can't fit right into society, either.
Because when he did an AO he was already the size of a 5-year-old child and with each passing year he aged 5 years.
The people at the Orphanage abhorred him as a monster and when he turned 4 he was thrown out onto the street where he found the first apparition that told him what he was about.
"all beings are no good" Episode decided this when he found out about its existence
He was a being that was between the two worlds, however, he had no place in either world so he hated both worlds
however, he focused his attention on the world he hated the most and decided to start hunting monsters because of his father who left him alone in the world.
His mother was perhaps the only one he didn't hate. Why she died when he was born.
On your monster hunting journey. The episode found all kinds of despicable beings from all sides. Until he went to do his last job
kill a legendary vampire
"the same race as that my disgraced father," He told the world his bitterness to hear when he went hunting her
The hunt was easier than he thought it would be. Only somehow, she managed to escape and made a servant who defeated all the other hunters that were with him.
"weak pigs" That was the only thing he could tell they were
He took one last look at the vampire's leg and hers from home in anticipation of hunting down the vampire his first prey had made.
while running into town he found several traces of the vampire, like many dead gangsters
"were late" Episode said
until he found the silhouette of the vampire sitting on the edge of the city's harbour looking at the moon with one of several boxes to his right side and an open box to his left.
the left box smelled like some of the sweets Episode never had the option or desire to eat in his life.
He quickly appeared behind the vampire and fixed his huge silver cross to throw at him.
"Hey you come and sit with me," the vampire said not looking at Episode
The episode jumped back scared not understanding how the vampire noticed him. He kept his cross in combat stance with his eyes focused on any vampire movement.
"What are you talking about? Want to dodge death?" Episode yelled in a voice full of venom
"Not only sit here, but we'll also fight later" The vampire spoke calmly hitting the ground beside him
"very well" Episode decided to go with the vampire's idea but prepared a small silver blade beside it.
'if he wants to make it easier for me, letting me get closer to him, that's fine
The episode calmly approached the vampire and sat down on his left side.
"Take it," The vampire said looking at Episode's eyes showing certain happiness while handing him a doughnut
"what, it's poisoned," Episode asked suspiciously not letting go of his blade "I'm a half vampire, poison doesn't work on me"
"no... I'm not such an idiot" The vampire said
"Then why?" Episode asked
"I want to hear about you" the vampire spoke calmly but leaving a slight feeling of comfort in Episode
"My life has nothing interesting"
"so tell me"
