"Damn you're a monster Tsubayoshi why didn't you tell me?" Kanemaru said beside me as we are now on our way to A ground where we would test our batting.

I am with my fellow Freshman now and they still can't pretty much get over what happened earlier.

"Furuya too he's a monster on his own"

"You're damn right about that! We've got two monters in our grade!"

The others are talking to themselves around me I can't help but hear what they're talking about since they're damn too loud.

"What am I supposed to say?" I replied at Kanemaru looking at him with a confuse gaze on my face.

As we walk I can't help but let my mind wonder when I struck out Yuki senpai. After so many years I've finally struck someone out while I stand on that mound. All of the grief and self pity that I have on myself during my past life vanished during that time. It feels like I am finally back on track, No I am really back on track this time. I smiled at that thought.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Kataoka could be seen leading the group of freshmans towards A ground. He still can't help but remember the sight of Jiro's pitching.

When Furuya pitch at first he was already extremely happy inside as he thought that lady luck is on his side to get his hands on a pitcher like Furuya especially in today's time as the team badly needed a True Ace on the mound, he didn't have much expectation to others after that but he was stunned seeing what's happening in front of him just right after Furuya.

Seeing the form of Jiro earlier, his mind have gone blank at first. Another unknown boy appeared like a comet dazzling everyone around. The boy he saw is so dazzling on the mound that seems to refuse to be compared with anyone else. 'Finally after so many years, Is ladyluck finally favoured Seido this time?' he thought to himself as a slight smile formed on his face that immediately vanish without anyone noticing.

Everyone is still talking about the spectacle that they witnessed earlier. The regulars is also talking about it as they also made their way towards A ground.

"Yhahaha we have some scary freshman this year" One of the regulars said that has a green hair.

"You're right about that Kuramochi, we have a lot of interesting newcomers this time heheh. I can't help myself but think of how should I make a sequence for that monster" Miyuki said with a creepy expression on his face thinking of ways on how to fuck batters up with Jiro's face.

"You're really messed up yourself" Kuramochi said to Miyuki looking at him with a judgemental look on his face.

"Hey what's with that look! I can't help it okay? The guy has other pitch I haven't seen yet"

"Whattt!?" Kuramochi is shocked once more.

"What do you mean by that?" Yuki asked butting in the conversation of his two kohai.

"The guy still has gyro ball you know" Miyuki Kazuya stated on which left everyone dumbfounded since most of the regulars arrived late when Jiro said about his breakout balls.

"I see" Yuki replied suddenly realising his competitive aura.

"You serious?" Kuramochi was stunned

"Damn that pretty boy not telling me about this when we talk last night" Isashiki muttered and beside him Ryunosuke could be seen smiling so wide on which looks really harmless on the outside.

Tanba was just listening in their conversation in the side, shock once again to the new information he just found out that the monster pitcher he just saw earlier has more to offer than he thought. 'Would I really lose my Ace number to a first year?, No. I wouldn't hand it over just like that!' he thought to himself.

While Furuya and sawamura who witnessed Jiro's display of skill earlier is fired up at the thought of competing with such a monster for the ace number. Kawakami on the other hand was a little discouraged knowing that his kohai is such a monster.

Everyone has their own thoughts regarding Jiro's pitching but what comfort them is the fact that the monster they've seen is a teammate rather an opponent.

Miyuki can't help himself so he walked up to Jiro to talk to the boy.

"Hey monster-kun~" He greeted the boy teasingly.

"Monster-kun?" Jiro replied looking at his senpai.

"Where did you go during middle school and why we haven't heard anything about you so far?"

"I'm from Dateko middle school in Kanagawa senpai and for your second question it's because this is the first time I've joined a team" Jiro replied to his senpai question.

"What?" Miyuki asked confuse as he didn't get what Jiro's implying at first.

"Seido is my first baseball team" replied by Jiro plainly. The conversation between the two gathered attention of people around including the coaching staff.

"Huh?! So you didn't join any baseball team during your middle school?"

"Yes" Jiro replied once again

"So that's why you've been still unknown player huh? So how did you practice to get this good without any guidance and also why didn't you joined your baseball team during middle school? I'm pretty sure Dateko of kanagawa has a team"

"Middle school baseball doesn't interest me back then senpai, and I just practiced alone during middle school and also by watching videos online" Jiro made up an excuse to answer his senpai probing questions. 'It's not like I could tell them this is my 2nd life so I'm this good already today' Jiro thought to himself.

His answer left everyone shock inside, 'He got this good by training alone?' they thought to themselves, If there is anyone that could relate to the statement of Jiro that is Furuya. Furuya stopped coming to his baseball team because no one wants to play with him and catch for him back at Hokkaido so he sympathise himself with Jiro's just playing baseball alone in the past. 'He's just like me, but so much better than me' He thought to himself suddenly releasing an intense aura.

Takashima Rei who heard the conversation between Miyuki and Jiro in the sideline thought 'So that's why there's no one heard about this monster so far huh? It's a good thing he decided to go to our school'

"Hehe you're really something else monster-kun" Miyuki said looking at Jiro's way.

"Pls stop calling me with that weird nickname senpai" Jiro complains to Miyuki regarding the nickname Seido's catcher gave him.

They finally arrived at the A ground when Kataoka give out a set of instructions for this test. In the field the batting fences is already prepared at the sidelines.

"The assigned fielders today go to your designated position each." Kataoka instructed looking at the seniors.

"Yes sir!"

"The pitchers assigned to throw the ball to the first years, do your pitching warm ups now" he added looking at the senior pitchers of the 2nd and 3rd string.

"Yes sir!"

Kataoka just looks at his student actions overseeing everyone doing their own warm ups and nods. 'Good' he thought.

"This time I'll group you into six for the batting test so prepare yourself" Kataoka said looking at the first years. His eyes can't help but wonder at one boy looking at him with light brown and blue eyes that seems shining.
