Magnus watched the Valkyries scattered on the field with their missing limbs and the broken armor they wore. They were supposed to be the final line of defense, but they all lost to Brynhilde. The strongest Gods in Norse mythology had all been defeated as well, and the only one who was still standing was him, with the raven wings on his back.

Brynhilde stared at Magnus and it made him feel threatened, but there was nothing he could do. Suddenly she sheathed her sword, and then a portal formed right behind her. Amaryllis and Jeanne came out of it and they both were taken aback when they saw so many dead bodies on the ground.

"What's your purpose, Jeanne? Why are you doing this?" Magnus asked and looked at Jeanne who looked exhausted.

"Are you strong enough to hear the answer? Because if not, you're going to be a broken man. It's better for you to not know anything," Jeanne answered as she wiped her eyes, but blood came out of her left eye.
