Year 643 - Un'Goro Crater
With a flash of light in the sky a camp in Un'Goro Crater was illuminated. Five people, surrounded by no more than thirty others sat around a dying fire. The atmosphere tense as they scanned one another. Trying to find that last bit of hope. Something, anything that could save them and this planet.
"Where are Saurfang and Thrall?" Asked a bloodied and battered Tauren.
"Dead. They fell at the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. They tried to save what was left of the bronze dragonflight. Only Chromie survived." Said a Night Elf whose face was gnarled and blackened on one side.
"Shush my love. You need to keep as much strength as you can Malfurion." Said another Night Elf. Her eyes as black as night.
Silence once again descended upon the group. Sadness, desperation, anger, fear. All the emotions of one who has been defeated lingered over them all.
All of a sudden a portal opened and a man, barely in his 20s appeared. His armor gashed to shreds. Behind him an older mage with hair as white as snow could be seen on the other side. Fighting what seemed to be an endless number of void corrupted beings. By his side stood two other mages. All three releasing devastating attacks on the beings to halt them all they could. On the ground you could see dead soldiers all over with a golden lion engraved on the armor
"Khadgar lets go! Move through now!" Said the youth
"No Anduin. You know they can follow the portals destination. The archmages and I shall hold them as long as we can so the magic dissipates. Stay safe Anduin." Said Khadgar. As the portal closed the archmages scattered and started letting the arcane in there bodies explode outward. The effects devastated the enemy, but they themselves perished.
As he fell to the ground he looked to his right. Stormwind, once the glory of The Alliance was now reduced to rubble. A giant being sat in its ruins staring at him. Suddenly a voice could be heard
"Hahaha why resist? All is lost. Give in, give in, give in. I could give you so much more, so much more, follow me Khadgar. Help me build my empire."
"You foul beast. The legion couldn't sway me. You think you could? Your nothing." Said khadgar. As his voice faded he felt the searing pain of a blade and then nothing. Khadgar hero of the races of Azeroth fell in the ruins of Stormwind.
Back at the camp the remnants of the races of Azeroth watched as Anduin stood in the now drizzling rain as lightning flashed and the sound of thunder traveled through the crater.
"What did you find out on your mission Anduin?" asked a Blood Elf. Most likely the last of her kind now since Silvermoon was one of the first to be targeted due to the sun well.
"We, no, Khadgar found an old scroll in the depths of the Wrynns secret library. An old record of a Titan Construct here in Un'Goro. But it's use we are not sure. It wasn't placed here to keep The Old Gods in check that we know." Said Anduin as he pulled out the scroll and handed it around.
"I know what it's for." Came a small voice from a tent off to the side.
"You know it Chromie?" Said a Darf who went by the name Gidwin Goldbraids. His armor giving off faint holy light and around his neck was a pendant that said Paladin Pals in Dwarvish and Thalassian.
"Well our with it then. Will it help us destroy N'Zoth and his monstrosities?"
"I'm afraid not Dwarf. It's only meant to place you and one other in a particularly time while not costing you any mana or energy. Traveling through time takes lots of mana and energy... even for us bronze dragons. So I'm not sure why my father would tell Khadgar about it right befo.... unless.." Said Chromie as she trailed off. Her face scrunched as she seemed to be pouring over her memories. "Menethil. That's it! I know what we can do. I'll need my brother Kalecgos for this to work. I'm sorry I can't tell anyone because if something was to happen then... ya you get corrupted then they know everything." Said an excited Chromie as she dashed to and fro. "I must leave now but just know... this plan will work. Azeroth will be saved." She Said with a bright smile and then vanished.
In the camp of Un'Gor not a word was spoken for some time until a chilly laughter resounded through the entire crater. All the animals present stopped in terror.
"Hahaha so the little bronze has a plan. Infinity do not let her succeed... hahah now as for the rest of you. Give up or die." Said N'Zoth
I will die before I follow you monster!" Yelled Baine Bloodhoof. His cries mimicked by the other survivors.
"So be it. Kill them all." With a wave the apparition if N'Zoth vanished and thousands of screams could be heard in the darkness of the Crater. Hours later silence once again returned. No one was left standing.

Year 588 Capital City, Lordaeron
"My lord!" yelled a maid as she burst into the great hall of Capital City. On the throne sat King Terenas II while mulling over reports from over the kingdom.
"What is it? Is my wife ok?" asked the king. His voice tense with anticipation.
Lianne, his wife, has been in labor for the past couple hours. The screams still echoed in the which led many to believe that this pregnancy was not normal. Some even started to think that the Queen may not live through it.
"Yes my lord. The labor is over. Lady Lianne has finally given birth and hopes that you would come as soon as possible." Said the maid with a bow
With a jump King Terenas rushed to his chambers. "It must be a boy. It has to be.." muttered the king as he threw open the door.
Laying in bed was his wife, blood on the sheets and beads of sweat rolling down her forehead. With worry, the king walked to his wife's side and looked her over.
"Calm yourself my dear. I am fine and so are the boys." Said Lianne
"Boys?" Asked the king as he walked over and looked. There, in the crib laid two boys. One had hair as golden as his crown and eyes as blue as the sky. The other, with fair brown hair and bright emerald green eyes that seem to see into your very being. "Two. I have two boys." said the king as a grin appeared on his face. "These two shall be the pride of the kingdom! Hahaha! My dear Lianne... thank you."
As the king celebrated, two figures, hidden by the cover of night made there way through Tirisfal Forest. One a human with blue hair that seemed to be loosing its color and blue eyes that seemed to have dimmed from the lack of energy. The other a gnome with white hair and wrinkles all over. "Well... I hope your right about this. I know it was our only resort, but... a Menethil? Are you sure Chromie?" Said the human figure
"Yes Kalecgos. We have lost and the Black empire is back in our time... atleast in this time they will have some strength. It's the only hope they have left."
"But why a Menethil. That House was destroyed you know. Can our "new" child help them enough?"
"There is power in the Menethil line Kale... more than you know." With a wave of her hand a portal enveloped them both and with a burst of power they were gone.
"Hmmm. What are you up too child?" Said a strange disembodied voice once the two were gone "Lost timeline huh? Menethil... I'll wait and see what your reason was Chronormu of the bronze and Kalecgos of the blue. Let us hope you do not destroy everything in your attempt to save it" As the voice disappeared the forest returned to normal as if time had finally resumed.
My first attempt at writing a story with more than a couple chapters. I’ll drop this chapter to see if anyone would be interested in this kind of story.
