Hearing the scrawny humanoid demon's loud shout, it had become the war horn that started the battle between the two sides.

Returning the shout with his own roar, Robus leaped forward, leaving Blake, Cyra, and Vera behind as he made his way toward the unknown humanoid demon that carried two bone swords in his hand.

Blake had made a quick decision about who would fight who based on the appearance and the little-known characteristics of his current enemies.

While it would make sense if two of the strongest and most robust-looking demons from the two sides clashed with each other, and Blake would actually do that if he didn't know anything, but Blake already knew the muscular humanoid demon's ability and pairing up Robus against him would only be disadvantageous to Robus despite the two of them having a similar build and fighting style.
