章 71: Her Harrowing Realizations

Back at the present, Anastasia woke up to realize that she had lost consciousness at the hallway earlier. 

Time and again, she fell asleep after recovering some more of her memories. It's draining a lot of her strength and energy that she feels really exhausted right after waking up. Despite that, she struggles to keep her eyes open and tries to scan around the place.

She found herself regaining consciousness inside an unfamiliar room. Plain alabaster walls stretch all around her along with emptiness. There's nothing in here aside from her and the white bed she's lying on at the moment. 

But as she focuses her vision and keeps looking around, she spots a row of handrails from a distance and realizes that she's on top of an elevated platform - there must something more below.

"What in the world is happening...?" Anastasia wondered out loud groggily while she rose and sat up.

"Oh, Sir Rupert... Where is he?"
