章 122: Danger and Savior

That very morning after their eventful evening, Zen allowed Dave to join him and Anastasia during breakfast. 

He was so startled by the invitation that he thought he heard him wrong. This was the first time he would be joining the both of them at anything. It seemed like what he did with his girlfriend yesterday had a better outcome than he expected - not like he would do anything similar again since he still enjoyed living.

Rupert was the one who would always keep Dave company from breakfast until dinner, but today, he would be really sitting at the same table with those lovebirds.

"And here I thought I could finally tease them to my heart's content..." he thought while shooting the couple a flat and unamused look from the opposite side of the dining table.

"Turned out that I would be the one at a disadvantage instead."

While he may have been delighted by the invitation, he was not happy with becoming a total third wheel in the end.
