Epilogue
Joey’s POV
I often take a moment to pause and reflect back on my life. My mind goes all the way back to my first pack, the pack I was born in. Some of my favourite memories originated here. Memories with my parents, my mother was kind, beautiful, her voice soft and angelic. Whenever she was hard at work completing a task, she’d sing one of her favourite songs, and you could hear her voice throughout the entire house. My father had more of a rough side, but still managed to let me know that he loved me, that he loved my mother. Once I shifted, he would take me on hunting trips, he taught me how to stalk my prey and take them down, taught me how to protect myself. My father was a pack warrior, he was strong and vicious when needed and he made sure I would never need protection of anyone. My father is the only reasons I survived as a rogue as long as I did, until I met Dawn.
