Overall, this story provided a captivating tale of romance between Assar and Oksana. It is a love story filled with passion that fits very well with the vampire slaying subplot. The chapters are well managed with a delicious mixture of blood-curdling violence and the formation of a fervent relationship. There is a quality about the writing that accentuates the gritty atmosphere that provides the reader with a portal to delve into a dark, mystical world filled with monsters. It was a wonderful read and I recommend it for anyone that may be remotely interested in dark fantasy.
This one is a solid choice if you’re looking for a novel with lots of action and romance. I particularly enjoyed the twist on how Vampires work in this story. Looking forward to seeing more from this author!
Normally I'm a lurker on this site, but this book compelled me to leave a review - it's that good! I'm about halfway through, and it has everything I'd want in page-turner book: vampire fantasy interwined with a complex romance and some action to spice things up. Can't wait to finish it!
Nice read so far. Ive always enjoyed vampire stories, and the author has done a great job of keeping traditoinal tropes while adding his own traits. The book had a exciting mix of action and mystery along with a large dose of romance.
So far it's a great story, with an interesting take on vampires. The book has some awesome action that's mixed with slow burn romance. The two main characters have some very entertaining interactions and I'm eager to see the rest of the story
Never has a story kept me so much on edge like this one did. A struggle of power and pride over attraction...which one wins in the end? This story is packed with everything, action, plot twists and then love...enjoying the read. Great job author.
On top of this being a 'suck-you-in' story, I can't get over how much I also love the author's writing style, pace, and structure!! This is a super awesome read with great character and story development!!
