Her name barely came off his tongue as he stared at his dying sister. She looked barely alive, too thin for her own good despite being thin-looking already. She looked much worse, her white hair slowly falling off her tiny scalp. Her eyes were dry after crying for so long; though a brightness still remained while she looked at him. 

"Brother." Her dry lips curled into a smile. "I am sorry about Angus, he's a tough one compared to my other friends."

"Friends with an S-class beast. That's totally normal." He grumbled nervously as he strode to the ghost—looking girl's bed.

He took a seat just next to her, unaware of what to say next. He wasn't her real brother, so the connection he felt was merely an inherited memory.
