"You can come out now. I won't bite."
A black loosen pants, flatted black shoes, and a greyish fitted long sleeves. Her hair is tied in a bun and she is wearing a maroon-colored beany.
Her gentle face contradicts her true nature, making Jasmine rethinks of her decision of scaring of the driver by threatening him to slit his throat.
The grandmother smiles to Jasmine as she steps forward from behind the tree at the park where the young lady is.
"Your way of handling sharp objects is pretty satisfying. It makes me remember the past when I was still your age."
Jasmine looks at her with a confused face as her eyes look at the grandmother from her head to her covered toes.
She faces the grandmother with a determined face as her face breaks into a smile.
"I don't know who you are but thank you for your compliment."
The grandmother looks at Jasmine as her face turns into a serious one, frightening every living creature who is with them at that very moment.
"Young child, would you like me to show how much you can wield that sharp object?"
Jasmine stares at her hands before looking back to the grandmother, who is standing firmly at her position before drawing her left leg backwards and bending down in a squat position.
Her right leg is at the front, balancing the flow of the weight of her body while inhaling deeply from her nose as the air travels throughout her system.
Jasmine observes her every movement as she starts a plan of attack inside her mind. The young lady knows that this grandmother is not an ordinary grandmother.
There is something about her that is making her dangerous. The qi inside her is very dark and gloomy. Jasmine needs to make sure that she will survive this fight.
The grandmother gently smiles at her before releasing her first attack. By the energy that flows on her legs, she launches her attack by pushing the air backward from her toes to her soles.
Jasmine draws back, dodging the incoming jab from the grandmother as she launches her fist as well. The grandmother uses her hand to block her attack before squatting down to the ground and kicks her legs.
The sudden attack made Jasmine's balance a bit unstable but she didn't fall down. She stumbles away from the grandmother and suddenly feels something hurting her tendon.
Not only did she bear with the pain of her tendon but she thinks of another technique to beat the old woman in front of her.
"She is so strong, damn it!"
Jasmine softly whispers reach the ears of the grandmother, making her frown that maybe the young Headmaster of the Matautia Clan is not what her father says she is.
The grandmother is a bit disappointed with what the young lady had just accomplished but she is quite young yet it is not an excuse for not being able to fight.
"Is that the best you can do?"
Jasmine looks at the grandmother before smiling. She inhales a heavy sigh before releasing it into the air, relaxing her aching muscle before attacking her again.
The grandmother dodges her first attack once again but she did not anticipate the next one.
SNAP!
The grandmother uses a fallen stick from a branch as a weapon to surprise Jasmine, creating a diversion to the woman who is simply fighting using nothing but a small knife inside her pockets.
SMASH!
Jasmine sees this and growls aggressively at the grandmother as she tries to break the branch apart and continues to attack her using her fists.
She has little knowledge about martial arts and taekwondo but she knows that using sticks from a fallen branch of a tree is cheating.
She is not that stupid.
SWISH!
The grandmother whips the tree branch towards Jasmine, hitting her on the back as she cries out loud. Jasmine remembers her training inside the Matautia Training Camp when she was still a little girl.
The amount of pain from the training camp makes her angry as she grabs the tree branch and breaks it into two.
"Enough of this bullshit! Let's fight fair!"
The grandmother smirks as she nods to Jasmine and uses her fist to punch her again. Jasmine blocks it away and uses her feet to kick the grandmother away from her.
"ARGH!"
The grandmother screams as Jasmine's leg hits her side and stumbles away. The pain is unbearable but the grandmother knows that Jasmine will not be satisfied unless this becomes a fair fight.
A fair fight that produces a loser and a winner.
"Just go and attack me, little girl. I want to see you go berserk!"
And Jasmine just did that. After the grandmother declares her words, Jasmine uses her other hand grab the old woman's collar and slams her to the ground.
Straddling the grandmother to the ground and lifting her fist up in the sky. As the voice inside her head yells for her to launch the attack, the grandmother speaks out her last words.
"I am Li Xian Feng."
Jasmine's fist stops an inch above the old woman's nose before flinching back to existence and moves away from the grandmother.
She stares at the grandmother who is lying flat on the ground with her knuckles folded into a fist.
"Wha-What-"
Jasmine can't form her words as she tries to recall when is the last time she forgets everything after fighting so much. She looks around her and sees the mess that they made while fighting.
Fallen young leaves from the bark of the tree, the grass is had been ruined by the force that surrounds their kicks and punches, the stoned chair is now half broken while the spectators are hiding behind in every stone.
"What happened?"
Jasmine murmurs as she looks at herself from her phone's broken screen. Her hair is disheveled and her cheeks are dirty.
She looks at her clothes and can see the number of dirt all around it. Jasmine looks back at the grandmother, who is now standing as if nothing happens and dusting off every blackening soil from her clothes.
"You impress me, young lady. You are one hell of a weapon. I will be excited and happy to see the Matautia Clan being praised and respected again. "
Jasmine doesn't know what is happening. Grandma Feng draws her hand towards the young lady and smiles.
"Stand up, child. Don't be scared. I am just a mere grandmother."
Jasmine takes her hand and stands up in front of her. She dusts off the dirt on her shirts and pants before looking back at the grandmother.
"For now, you must stay for at least two more days in my turf before I could let you leave the country. For those three days, I would want you to not talk to your brother at all.
Even if he wants to talk to you at all cost."
Jasmine nods in understanding but before they shake their hands, the young lady says her condition to Grandma Feng.
"Let me talk to my brother before cutting every communication that we have."
Grandma Feng is skeptical about this but she gives her approval and soon, Jasmine shakes her hand and prays to every God that exists in the universe to ready Aiden of what's yet to come in his life.
"Don't worry. Your brother will be fine."
In Jasmine's thoughts, she doesn't know what is happening anymore.
