The three disciples we had rescued looked at me with a mixture of curiosity and fear. Having only recently entered the sect, they were unaware of my identity, but witnessing the ferocity with which I had dealt with the other cultivators left them trembling in my presence.

"Shouldn't we inform the Patriarch about this immediately?" one of the unfamiliar disciples ventured cautiously.

That was what weaker individuals like them would do, but I felt differently. This situation presented a golden opportunity for me to secure valuable treasures. Yes, it was undoubtedly perilous, but in the cultivation world, everything came with its risks.
