章 169: The Young Master

Boom!

The gate flew open as Aether flew past the two guards. They froze in place with their spears pointed at the distance. But they didn't even see the man past them. They just saw a blurry figure.

Aether flew past the guards inside the city. The two guards wearing silver armor could not see him clearly, but the young man caught a glimpse of him.

"Quick, chase!"

One of the guards roared.

"No," the young man raised his hand. "Leave it be. Return to duty."

The guards looked at each other but didn't say anything. They can't question the actions of their superiors.

The chest of the young man went up and down as he sucked in breaths of cold air. 

The young man was skinny. Though young, his face was sunken in. His face gave off an uneasy feeling to anyone who saw him. Though nothing was wrong with it, an evil aura surrounded the young man, making others shiver in fear.
