Cedric paused, his eyes looking at her as if she had touched his biggest wound. He gritted his teeth as he spoke, 

"You think any of them was innocent? Ha! After coming so far and seeing so much violence, do you think any of them could be innocent?"

"My father was innocent and so was my mother." she spat in anger as her body shook with rage and Ales closed his eyes. He was trying to avert this moment but she just did not listen.
