Zero hardly paid any attention to the weirdness of the two.

He was thinking about what they had commented.

His mother also had silver hair. Which explained why they recognised him so quickly. All the talk about how he looked like his mother seemed funny, really. Was she manly looking or did he look feminine? Or perhaps their features were androgynous?

It wasn't that he was really bothered by it, but that he simply was curious and found the whole thing rather ridiculous.

'Parents'

"If my parents are really looking for me," Zero began, rather distractedly, "Why aren't they here?"

"They will be," Ichinose said, "Once we have confirmed it."

Zero, without turning to look at Ichinose, asked, "You mean, DNA testing?"

Ichinose replied, "Yes."

"That won't be necessary," Zero responded.

"Pardon?" Ichinose said, perplexed.
