章 179: CHAPTER 179: NEW YEAR

It was New Year's Eve, and the house was full of laughter.

Most of the servants had left the villa because they, too, needed to spend time with their families.

There were Michael and Erica, Stephanie and Elton, Sarah, Quinton, Sam, and Meleek at the Roberts' villa.

The butler, Agnes, and a few servants who didn't want to return but could earn more money by staying behind were on hand to assist with work.

There were also security guards patrolling in shifts while the rest of the staff were away on vacation.

Sarah was pregnant and couldn't do anything but lie on the couch and watch everyone else work.

Because most of the decorations were completed before Christmas, the house appeared to be very bright and appealing to the eye.

They were, however, preoccupied with food preparations because they needed to eat to their hearts' content while waiting for the new year to arrive and praying for blessings.
