Although Lucas had been impatient before, he had gradually calmed down the more they continued to chat and drink. Jen had finally finished her drink when Lucas was halfway through his third glass. She put her glass on the coffee table and snuggled closer to Lucas. Lucas held her waist as she buried her face in his chest so he only had the view of the top of her head.

"What is it?" Lucas asked as he continued to sip on his wine. The atmosphere was just right for a nap! Jen thought in her head. After a glass of wine, in a cool room, with a warm blanket (Lucas) she could fall asleep anytime.

"It's nothing, you are just warm and I got comfortable," Jen answered as she peeked at him. Their eyes met and Lucas finished the rest of his wine in one go. He was not planning on making her comfortable just so she can fall asleep afterwards.
