Inside Briar's ward, it was tranquil with only the sounds from the vital signs monitors ringing in the room steadily.

Being accompanied by sound steadiness was the attending nurse who was checking Briar's vitals.

Seeing that everything was okay, she jotted something down on the patient's record and got ready to get out.

Since the patient was in a coma without knowing when she would wake up and showing no threatening signs, there wasn't much to worry about.

Once she was done, she would leave and attend to other patients.

As she was reaching the door, something strange, or rather something unexpected, happened.

"Cough. Cough," suddenly in a room where she was supposed to be the only one who could do that, someone started coughing.

Since it wasn't her, then who was coughing?
