章 158: No hint of any emotion

Zhang Wang was at a complete loss for words. He thought for a moment he had to be hallucinating.

"What are you doing here?" He said once more, like a broken record without anything else to say. 

From the dim lighting he was able to unmistakably make out Beast Master Wei's figure. She was dressed in her signature masculine garb, her hair simple and her arms slack at her side. But there was no hint of annoyance on her face. In fact, there was no hint of any emotion at all. 

"..." Silence stretched and he gulped, feeling disconcerted. 

Eventually, Beast Master Wei spoke. Even her voice was straight and oddly lacking of any personality, "Zhang Wang. I didn't expect to see you in such a place."

"Ahaha…" he laughed nervously, not yet comfortable with letting down his guard. "I could say the same."
