章 180: Hidden cache

Three fools stalked through a crowded courtyard, where demons sang and danced. They ducked behind crates and hubris to avoid detection. Yu Yanlin had warned them earlier that were likely demons inside. Without Ma Jian to oversee the troops, it was unlikely that Yu Xinen cared that much to oversee their activities outside the march and siege. 

Yu Yanlin had experienced it himself. The resulting situation was one before them, where there were demons floundering about, doing whatever it was they pleased. It was likely the refuge in every nook and cranny of the area, for there were no properly assigned sleeping quarters. 

"We'll take care of them quickly. Best not make a ruckus," Song Hailun huffed beneath his breath.

The scouted the building from the window facing the west. Zhang Wang wedged himself behind a fallen tree to take a peek inside. Though it was dark, he could make out a few sleeping shapes.
