After weighing the two options, Xiu Mei finally decided not to throw her father under the bus and avoid Mrs.Ying's wrath that might befall upon her if she gets associated with Mr.Ying's mistress. However, though, she wasn't going to jump into the pit of criticism because of this female politician. 

Xiu Mei took a sip from her juice and roamed her gaze around discreetly. 

She already planned the scenario in her head, while cautiously watching the reaction of other people in the lounge. 

She glanced briefly at the woman sitting in front of her who was giggling at her story that she wasn't even listening to. She carefully put down the glass in her hand and flashed her professional smile that doesn't look too fake but isn't too sincere either.
