章 198: Back to the office

Xiu Mei distanced herself in reflex as if she was going to escape after getting caught snooping around secretly. But before she could move an inch, Lu Chen's hand went to the back of her head to stop her movements. 

And so, Xiu Mei was left with no choice but to keep staring at her husband with flushed cheeks. An amused smile appeared at Lu Chen's drained appearance. 

"You came." Lu Chen blurted out in ecstasy as soon as he saw her wife's figure in front of him when he woke up from his short nap. He was actually already awake the moment she entered his office, he was on high alert at first but as soon as he smelled that familiar scent in the air, he immediately realized that it was his wife who dropped by. 

Xiu Mei nodded and smiled. Then she pointed at the lunch box behind herself. Seeing this, Lu Chen felt even more elated at his wife's thoughtfulness. So he couldn't help himself but slightly rise from the couch and press a kiss on Xiu Mei's lips.
