“Yes! Percival!” Hamilton excitedly exclaimed as though he had found the living-breathing man instead of just a paper with familiar handwriting.

Caspian glanced at the paper once more, this time in an analytical manner.

The paper looked brand new. There were no traces on the paper that proved that it was from centuries ago.

He could tell what got Hamilton excited.

No wonder that as soon as Caspian recognized the handwriting, a small flicker of hope immediately lit up inside his wounded heart as well.

Hamilton’s excited voice suddenly pierced through the silent room.

“You also think that this was written by Percival, don’t you?” Hamilton flipped the paper and was now taking another look at the handwriting.

Caspian didn’t speak.

He was unable to utter a single word because he felt as if something was gnawing the back of his throat. He simply pressed his lips together and looked away from the paper instead.
