We pull up to the Canyon, a few people have already arrived, namely Moon and Yasmines girlfriends and a few boys from school overall about 10, 15 people are here. I looked around for Kyler and his gang, but I couldn't see them anywhere.
The musics already blasting there's a fire going at the fire pit surrounded by driftwood logs.
"Hey Miguel help me with the alcohol." I say jumping out my car.
"Hawk get the the chairs."
"Alright." Both Miguel and Hawk reply.
"You girls can go on ahead so long we'll catch up." I tell Sam and Yasmine.
"Alright." Yasmine replies and walks off down to Moon and the others.
Sam looks apprehensivey towards the people and says, "Uhh it's fine I'll wait with you guys."
"We're sorting this out tonight Sam." Max says sternly.
"We're all friends here okay." Max walks over to Sam and rubs her shoulder soothingly.
Sam lets out a smile being comforted by Max.
This feels nice, Sam thinks contently.
"Alright I'll try." Sam says.
"Don't worry I'll be there to help you." Max says smiling warmly at Sam.
"Thanks." Sam returns his smile.
Miguel and I carry the Alcohol down to where the other Alcohol is stored and we put it down there.
I open the lid and pass a beer to Miguel.
Miguel takes it nervously.
"Dude it's just a beer, sip it slowly and enjoy." Max says with a teasing smirk.
"Ok." Miguel says and pops the cap off the beer and takes a sip.
He pulls a disgusted face as soon as the beer enters his mouth.
"Yea gross I know, but you'll get used to it." Max says patting Miguel's shoulder.
I grab a bottle of vodka and some cups and walk over to Sam.
"Alright Sammy let's go sort your mess out." I say grabbing Sammy's hand and dragging her over to Yasmine and the other girls.
Sam looks at their joined hands and can't stop her heart from racing and a feeling of happiness overtaking her.
She looks up at Max, the chiseled jaw, pouty lips and beautiful blonde hair that looks slightly messy makes him look very handsome.
Even though Sam doesn't really care about looks, she has to admit that Max is really handsome even slightly beautiful.
Yasmine notices Max walking over but she see's something that pisses her off, Max is holding Sam's hand, while they're talking and laughing with each other.
Why are they holding hands, Yasmine thinks to herself annoyed, A frown making its way onto her face.
Max and Sam eventually come over to where Yasmine and Moon are standing together, the other girls that were with them, went off to dance with some of the boys here.
Yasmine has a frown in her face I wonder why, Max thinks to himself.
"Hey Moon, Yasmine." Max greets.
"You okay Yasmine?" Max asks with care.
"I'm fine." Yasmine answers curtly.
"Hey Max, hey Sam." Moon greets with a smile and a small wave.
Yasmine glares at Moon.
"What Kyler was obviously lying Yasmine, Sam would never say mean things about us." Moon replies to Yasmines glare.
"Come on Yaz, we can all be friends." Max says with a pleading smile at Yasmine.
"Urghhh fine." Yasmine says reluctantly, not being able to resist Max's charm.
"Alright let's take shots to cement old and new friendships." Max says and starts pouring everyone a shot of the vodka he brought over.
Max hands everyone a cup with a shot of vodka in it, well maybe a double shot.
"Alright, to old and new friendships." Max says raising his cup.
"To old and new friendships." Yasmine, Moon and Sam echo.
They clink their cups together and down their shots.
"Ahhhh!!!" Max let's out a grunt from drinking the vodka.
"Alright I'll be back now, gotta go stop Miguel." Max says walking off to Miguel who just downed his third beer.
Sam and Yasmine Pov.
The three girls watch Max walk away each with varying expressions.
Sam looks at the other two smiles and uneasily says, "I'm glad we can be friends again."
"As if." Yasmine says with a snort.
"The only reason I agreed was so Max would be happy." Yasmine says rolling her eyes.
Sam's expression turns into a frown.
"Come on Yasmine, I'm tired of fighting, we should move on and be friends again." Moon says something surprisingly mature.
"Whatever, I'm going over to Max." Yasmine says walking away.
"Don't worry about her Sam, she'll come around." Moon says reassuringly.
Sam doesn't really hear anything Moon says and watches Yasmine as she walks over to Max, as she gets there she immediately starts flirting with him.
Sam feels jealously rise up within her watching Yasmine as she flirts with Max. The subtle touches of his arm and chest as she laughs at what his saying, subtly leaning into him so she can show him her boobs.
Sam frowns watching their interaction.
These past few days her and Max have gotten along really well and she can't deny she has feelings for him, especially after he stood up for her at school, even after hearing those disgusting rumors, he chose to believe her instead of believing the rumors, which only endeared him even more to her.
I won't let Yasmine have him, Sam thinks to herself, as she watches Yasmine drag Max towards the Alcohol.
"Sam I'm gonna get go talk to Hawk." Moon says eyeing Hawk.
"Uhhh sure, I'll go with you." Sam says and follows her towards Hawk and Miguel.
Max Pov.
"Miguel you need to slow down." Max says amd grabs Miguels beer.
"Heyyyy give it back." Miguel says his voice slightly slurred.
"Miguel slow down my friend, here have some water." Max says grabbing a bottle of water from the cooler.
"Maaannn you know it's unfair." Miguel says as Max hands him the bottle.
"What's unfair?" Max asks confused.
"You,, you're unfair." Miguel says depressingly.
"Huh what do...." Max starts to say but is interrupted by Yasmine who puts her hand on Max's shoulder and asks in a playful tone, "Everything ok over here?"
"Yea, Miguel's just drunk already, what about you guys you and Sam cool again?"
"Yea we worked everything out." Yasmine says with a flirty smile.
"That's great, you're a really good person Yasmine." Max says genuinely with a smile.
Yasmine laughs and leans closer to me placing her arm in my left peck and says."Heheheh... thanks Max."
I can see inside her shirt, she isn't wearing a bra, Max thinks to himself almost hypnotized by Yasmines boobs.
They're atleast C-cups, Max thinks to himself a feeling of lust building within him.
"Come on Max let's go get more drinks." Yasmine says and drags Max off towards the alcohol.
"Sure." Max agrees robotically and lets Yasmine drag him off.
Wait why am I letting Yasmine do this to me, the reason I even came, was so I could hang out with Sam, though a drink wouldn't hurt, Max thinks to himself.
They reach the table and Yasmine pours him a vodka mixed with some orange juice.
"Here we go." Yasmine says handing Max the drink.
"Thanks." Max receives the drink with a smile.
"So Max, how're you enjoying California so far?" Yasmine asks.
"Oh it's been fun, part of that is thanks to you." Max says with a charming smirk.
Am I as light weight as Miguel, why am I flirting with Yasmine, Max thinks to himself confused.
Yasmine's face heats up and a red blush covers her cheeks because of Max's words and that irresistible smirk.
"That's good to know." Yasmine says with a shy smile on her face, feeling warm and happy inside.
A few hours flew by and the parties starting to die down.
Hawk and Moon hooked up during the party, surprisingly Miguel also hooked up with someone, Jessica the dumb blonde that worships Yasmine, now Max, Max never hooked up with anyone, not for Yasmines lack of trying though, but each time she'd try something Sam would interrupt them.
Now at the end of the night they're playing some slow song, Yasmines sitting on the sideline frowning and watching Sam and Max dancing together quite intimately with each other.
Sam leans her head foward resting it on Max's chest.
"This brings back memories doesn't it." Sam says with a reminiscent smile on her face.
"Yea, yea it does." Max says looking down at Sam with strong emotions in his eyes.
Max and Sam as kids would be each others dance partners at the country club parties they used to go to, though Max was usually the one who had to rest his head on Sam's shoulder as he was shorter than her at that time.
"You know I really, missed you Max, I'm glad your back." Sam says contently listening to Max's heart beating.
"Yea I'm glad I came back." Max says softly.
The song comes to an end and the embers of the fire finally burn out, signaling the end of the party.
"Alright it's time for us to head back, don't want your dad kicking my ass." Max says with a chuckle.
"Yea and we both know he could if he wanted to." Sam says an amused smile in her face.
"Heyy... I'm not 8 years old anymore, I think I take him." Max says smugly.
"Please, he's old now, I think I could do it." Max says with a snort and rolls his eyes.
"Hahahaha." Sam laughs adorably at Max's words.
"Though your mother looks like she hasn't aged at all." Max says a thoughtful look on his face.
"Ahhh Max, are you still crushing on my mother." Sam says.
"What I never crushed on your mother?" Max says confused how she knew.
"Please everyone knew, oh Aunt Amanda let me help you put on sunscreen, oh Aunt Amanda let me help you with that, you'd follow her around like a little puppy." Sam says teasingly.
"What i never..." Max stsrts to deny but Sam cuts him off.
"Please it was so obvious your grandfather and grandmother found it adorable."
"Anyway we still on for tomorrow night, Golf n Stuff?" Max asks trying to change the subject.
"Yea of course." Sam says smiling happily at the thought of being alone with him tomorrow.
"What time should I pick you up?" Max asks.
"How about 6pm?" Sam replies.
"Yea that's perfect." Max says smiling.
Eventually Max drops everyone at home, not including a very unhappy Yasmine who caught a lift home with Moon.
Max didn't understand why she was so unhappy, for most of the night she was actually really happy and was constantly laughing and smiling with max.
After dropping everyone off Max heads home and catches some much needed zzzz after enjoying his night.
