Ane and Jane raised their heads when they heard Samantha, the image in front of them was imprinted in their minds, they had always seen Samantha smiling, but the smile she was wearing on her face was the kindest they had ever seen, the setting sun behind her literally turning that smile into a bright and cozy scene, and the tears that were still running down her cheeks strangely didn't make the scene sad, it just looked like a smile of joy after winning a challenge, looking at that both them were unable to look away, just imagining how much telling them so little helped the poor girl in front of them, and thinking like that they cried too.
Arthur also cried at the sight, he wanted to step forward and hug her, just as he does with his sister at times like this, but as soon as this thought came into his mind the atmosphere stagnated as if time had stopped, and then everything went dark; After a few seconds had passed, Arthur was greeted by the sound of laughter, the voice seemed gentle, and it was pleasant to the ears, he then blinked a few times before his vision returned, and what he saw surprised him, Samantha was sitting on the sofa with a blanket around her body, this blanket was made up of blue flames, just like the blanket that had been on the bed earlier, the sofa was also identical to the bed, only changing its structure, the sofa was simple, but spacious as it had four seats and a chaise on its left side, Samantha had her legs stretched out on the chaise while her cheerful laughter filled the room. Arthur looked at why she was laughing and made a bitter face, Samantha was sitting on the sofa while looking at a screen very similar to a television, on the screen Arthur could see the day he had a stomachache at school and couldn't to arrive home, he must have only been three at the time, so it wasn't an occurrence to be ashamed of, at least he always thought so, but seeing Samantha laughing like that changed his mind.
- Cough, cough. - Arthur coughed as he approached Samantha.
- Hu? - Samantha was surprised to see Arthur coughing behind her, and as soon as she turned her face the images that were flashing by disappeared. - Hi Arthur, how was it? Did you see the training I gave you? - Samantha said a little embarrassed, she used to skip some parts of Arthur's memories, or it was impossible for her to have already seen three years of his life, she usually skipped mainly the embarrassing parts, however, this scene reminded her of one the few brothers who didn't try to kill her and thanks to that she watched it out of curiosity, but she didn't expect it to be so funny, and that Arthur would finish watching the training so quickly too.
Seeing that Arthur didn't say anything, Samantha became a little nervous, she hadn't finished seeing all of Arthur's memories, and if he got angry and forbade her, she wouldn't be able to do anything about it; Samantha started to think of a good excuse to convince him, but in the next instant she forgot about it as her mind filled with confusion. Arthur hugged her and didn't say anything, she was surprised, and almost pushed him away, but restrained herself and with a conflicted expression she returned the hug while feeling a few tears fall down her neck, despite being confused she didn't bother to understand anything at the moment and just continued hugging him and waited for him to finish venting whatever his frustrations were.
This chapter is brief as it concludes with the end of the original chapter; a new one will be posted shortly.
"This is already the second chapter where the last paragraph has disappeared when viewed on cell phones. To avoid this, I've decided to duplicate this message at the end of each chapter, hoping it will resolve the issue. If you're reading this, I apologize if it's intrusive, but it's a better solution than leaving the chapter incomplete."
