[ Discover New Troops: ★☆☆

Different kind of troops: 2

Reward: Barracks x1, Army camp x1]

"Hmm... another achievement huh" Leon uttered as he look at the panel. "It seems that all the buildings you can get in Town hall level 1 are all given as a reward from achievements."

As Leon observed the archers standing before him, a sense of satisfaction washed over him, evident in the subtle nod of approval and the faint smile gracing his lips. With their arrival, a newfound sense of security enveloped him, alleviating the concerns that had lingered in the depths of his mind.

These archers can help the barbarians to address the security concerns of the village especially here in the wilderness where beasts and goblins roam.

With a keen eye, Leon assessed the capabilities of his newfound allies, recognizing the significant advantage they brought to the battlefield. Their prowess as marksmen would prove invaluable in combat and warfare, their ability to assault from a distance a testament to their effectiveness in the heat of battle.

Archers can engage opponents from a distance, providing tactical flexibility on the battlefield. They can target enemy soldiers, weaken formations, or disrupt enemy movements without direct confrontation while the sight and sound of volleys of arrows raining down on enemy forces can also instill fear and panic among their ranks, disrupting their morale and cohesion.

Archers can also play a crucial role in siege warfare, where they can rain arrows down on defenders from afar, weakening their defenses and causing casualties. They can also provide cover for siege engineers and infantry during assaults on fortified positions.

Overall, archers are formidable assets in combat and war, offering strategic advantages through their versatility, mobility, precision, and psychological impact. Their ability to engage enemies from a distance and influence the course of battles makes them indispensable components of military forces throughout history.

"Splendid, splendid indeed," Leon remarked, his tone laced with admiration as he surveyed the archers before him.

"My Lord, My Lord!"

Just as Leon was still feeling pleased with the development, a certain call could be heard from behind.

Leon turned around and saw Kael. He was carrying a wooden scepter in his hand and walking quickly toward him.

The scepter looks weathered and rugged while its surface is etched with crude symbols. Despite its worn appearance, the scepter radiates an aura of magical energy. Embedded within its structure are shards of quartz and other raw gemstones, haphazardly secured with sinew and resin.

"My Lord, I think you'd need to look at this."

Kael holding the old, withered scepter looked serious.

"Right, hold on." Leon said as he took the scepter from Kael's hand prompting Kael to explain, "This is the goblin shaman's weapon."

"The goblin shamans weapon huh" Leon said the he looked at the scepter and murmured. "Appraisal"

"Hoh.. an rare grade weapon huh, it even has a innate skill" Leon exclaimed. The weapons are also rank accordingly common, rare, unique, sacred, Mythical, then divine. "I wonder if it can enhanced the wizards Fireball if they use this"

As Leon examined the scepter handed to him, Kael look at the ten archers with a curious face.

"Archers?" Kael inquired, his voice filled with curiosity and surprise.

Leon glanced up from the scepter, meeting Kael's gaze with a knowing smile. "Yes, it's the archers," he confirmed, his tone confident and assured. "Kael, I want you to group them into five and assign them to patrol alongside the barbarians."

"I understand" Kael nodded in understanding, his expression shifting to one of determination.

With purposeful strides, Kael approached the assembled archers, his presence commanding respect and authority. "Follow me," he commanded, his voice firm yet reassuring.

Without hesitation, the archers fell into formation behind Kael, their movements fluid and synchronized. With bows at the ready and determination in their eyes, they prepared to embark on their assigned patrol, ready to defend Autumnvale against any threat.

As Kael led the archers away, Leon watched them go, a sense of pride swelling within him. With each step they took, he knew that Autumnvale's security was strengthened, its future safeguarded by the unwavering commitment of its defenders.

Once the archers had disappeared into the distance, Leon turned his gaze towards the lake.

He circled the lake, which was where the Town hall was located. He decided to make that area the residential and crafts section of Autumnvale from then on out. That was the region he had thoughtfully divided. If different trades were to grow and prosper in the future, there could be a commercial area developed there.

The northern side, which where the Lumberjaks are cutting trees, would serve purely as an agricultural area.

Although Autumnvale did not currently have farmable lands, he still had to take the development of his fief from then on out into consideration. If his place were to be one incapable of producing food, it would be tantamount to being choked by others.

There was no way Leon could give up agriculture altogether, even though the production of crops might be minimal.

"My Lord." The 10 Barbarians who were on standby near the Town Hall greeted him as they lowered their heads respectfully to show respect for their lord.

"Hmmm.."

Leon nodded. He did not arrange for them to do anything else. He simply replied, "Stay sharp."

The threat of the Goblins was still lurking out there somewhere. These 10 Barbarians were not the only ones who were on standby. The other Barbarians, Archers and Villagers were patrolling the forest nearby. They could quickly retreat and report to the Town hall if they found something, while would allow them time to prepare to deal with enemy threats.

Furthermore, Leon was about to add the barracks and training camp were he can recruit more troops.

He went to the side of the Town Hall and began to seriously look at the surrounding terrain.

Confirming the construction of the Barracks and the Army camp would add the third and fourth building to Autumnvale. At the same time, the building was crucial for allowing Leon to gain more troops.

[Trivia: The level 6 Barbarian's helmet greatly resembles the iron helmet from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which is one of the most iconic helmets in the game. It is also the one worn by the Last Dragonborn in Skyrim's trailer. ]
