I heard my parents as they started to approach the dining room. I knew that they would be here any moment now, and that meant that the show was about to begin. Not that I had wanted this to become a show, it was just best to get it over with. And I was here to protect Westin, so there was nothing to worry about. Especially considering that he seemed to be a little nervous about my parent's imminent arrival.

I heard Reeselynn cooing and crying out when they were about to walk around the corner. That had taken the focus of my mom off of the room and put it onto the baby. My dad, on the other hand, was looking into the room and glaring right at Westin.

OK, I might be panicking here, but he didn't already know, did he? He couldn't smell that I was mated with Westin now, could he? I mean, it's not like I was pregnant, so there was no difference in my scent. Damn, this was already not good.
