章 108: Chapter 108- Lyssa – Conversion Part 3 (VOLUME 1)

I was still sitting there with Papa's arm wrapped around me as we watched Warrick inside of the cell. I didn't know how long he was going to be in that state, but I knew that I wasn't going to leave until I could be with him again. And now that I had my Papa here with me, I was sure that I would be able to handle it all a lot better.

"Hey, Alyssa?" I heard the low and deep rumbling of Papa's voice next to me. He was speaking to me in the way that he used to for bedtime stories. That one that was soothing and almost guaranteed to make a child sleepy. I wondered for a moment how well it had worked on the other kids after the rest of us had outgrown that.

"Yes, Papa?" I didn't turn to look at him when he spoke. I kept my eyes only on Warrick, just as he was doing with me.

"Have I ever told you about when I was turned? How I became a vampire?"
